Le pub Red Lion, situé dans le cercle de pierres d'Avebury, est réputé pour être l'un des pubs les plus hantés d'Angleterre. Il date du XVIe siècle et possède un puits à l'intérieur du bar.
Avebury est le plus grand cercle de pierres mégalithiques du monde, datant de plus de 4 500 ans. Il a peut-être été utilisé pour des rituels, des observations astronomiques et des rassemblements communautaires. Le pub Red Lion situé à proximité serait hanté. Nous déjeunerons à Avebury, où vous pourrez choisir de manger au pub ou de faire votre propre pique-nique.
Silbury Hill est le plus grand tumulus préhistorique construit par l'homme en Europe. Son utilité reste un mystère, mais certaines théories suggèrent qu'il s'agissait d'une déesse mère de la Terre « enceinte » symbolique.
L'alignement du tumulus avec le lever du soleil certains jours suggère qu'il était utilisé pour des rituels marquant le passage du temps et des saisons. Nous visitons également la source secrète à proximité.

Arjun was a truly knowledgeable and interesting guide. Pu and drop off at our hotel in Bath made it super easy for 3 senior ladies. The day was filled with learning, beautiful drives and views and laughter. A great pub lunch stop and I can’t think of anything that could be done to improve the experience. Highly recommend.

This was the best tour I've been on yet. I came to England with specific sites I needed to visit and Arjun delivered on all of them. He was very accommodating, informative with such interesting history/knowledge, kept excellent pace and listened to the things that were important to me.
