La visite "Siena Classica" vous permettra de faire un voyage dans le temps, pour découvrir l'une des villes médiévales les plus fascinantes et les mieux conservées d'Italie. Avec le guide, les clients pourront se promener sur les routes traversées par les anciens pèlerins, admirer des joyaux de l'architecture médiévale tels que le magnifique Duomo et la splendide Piazza del Campo, avec sa forme typique de coquillage, visiter la Basilique de San Domenico pour découvrir un des plus grandes femmes d'Europe dans les années 1300, Santa Caterina da Siena, et clairement se perdre dans les coins les plus cachés et les plus caractéristiques de cette belle ville. Enfin, on ne peut manquer de mentionner le Palio, une tradition séculaire profondément enracinée dans les Siennois, et les Contrade, les 17 cœurs battants de la ville, essayant de comprendre l'âme de cette ville fière, forte et toujours authentique. IMPORTANT : les horaires indiqués sont 10h et 15h, mais il est possible d'arranger des horaires différents directement avec le guide selon vos besoins

La visite à pied de la Siena Classique dure 2 heures et touche à la fois les lieux emblématiques de la ville, tels que la Basilique de San Domenico, la Piazza Salimbeni, la Piazza Tolomei, le Duomo et la magnifique Piazza del Campo, ainsi que quelques coins secrets, loin du parcours principal.

We did a walking tour of Siena with a large group for my sister’s wedding. Chiara was not only very knowledgeable but very personable as well. She was patient with a larger group and even helped us find a restaurant to eat at. Her English was easy to understand as well!

Chiara was our very knowledgeable and personable guide in Sienna. Before the tour she provided us with parking directions very close to our meeting place which was so helpful. Chiara easily guided us away from the more crowded streets to more accessible side streets during the tour. Her knowledge of each of the contrade districts was impressive as was her detailed accounts of the history of the people, art, sculptures and religion. The Piazza del Compo was a highlight of the tour. She had detailed pictures of the Plaza during the Palio di Sienna and was able to provide first hand knowledge of the horse race. Chiara was our favorite guide during our trip to the hill towns of Tuscany and I would highly recommend her for any of the Sienna region tours.

Our family spent the week before Christmas in Italy and we decide to spend a day in Siena on our way to Florence. We hired Chiara to show us around the city and to share with us it's unique history. She was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend her if you are ever lucky enough to visit this city! We did a walking tour of San Gimignano and Siena. Chiara was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the two cities. We had a group of 6 and she helped us find a driver to take us from Montepulciano, where we were staying, to the two cities. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed Chiara’s company.
