La place Saint-Pierre est l’une des plus belles places de Rome, connue pour les nombreux chefs-d’œuvre visibles sans entrer dans aucun musée, grâce au génie d’architectes et de sculpteurs comme Michel-Ange et le Bernin. De la place, vous pouvez voir la célèbre fenêtre du pape, sa résidence officielle, la chapelle Sixtine, et toutes les statues de saints et d’apôtres!
Le Panthéon est un célèbre temple romain dédié aux douze dieux grecs et romains, et a été converti en église en 609. Sa renommée est principalement due au dôme, une merveille de la technologie d'ingénierie, fabriqué à partir d'un seul ciment coulé sur une immense charpente en bois et courbe.
Une merveilleuse exposition aquatique d'un aqueduc romain construit au Ier siècle av. La tradition veut que si vous jetez les pièces à l'intérieur de la baignoire, vous retournerez dans la ville éternelle. Si vous n'êtes pas disposé à payer le billet, la fontaine peut être vu de toute la place!
Le plus grand amphithéâtre de l'époque romaine, il a été construit pour les jeux de combat et de chasse des gladiateurs. Selon les chroniques, il abritait 90 000 personnes et a été construit en 8 ans.
Une des plus belles places de Rome et un superbe escalier servent de toile de fond à un défilé de mode. Connu comme le temple du shopping, c'est l'endroit où vous pouvez trouver tous les grands magasins de créateurs de mode!
C'est le point culminant de Rome, avec une vue imprenable sur Rome, l'endroit où l'Italie était unie!

We met Claudio at the cruise port. He was warm and welcoming from the start. We had a beautiful time touring around. Claudio was very knowledgeable about all the sites he stopped at. He also insisted that we go to hotel first so that we could drop our bags and check in. So he stopped at hotel first. It was great to know that that was done! I was amazed at the number of sites we were able to see in three hours. I would highly recommend to anyone to take this private tour, with port pick up.

This was a fantastic way to get from the port to our hotel. Our driver Nikola was early to pick us up and easy to find. The van was clean and comfortable. Nikola stopped along the way at some out of the spots we would have never known about as well all of the popular spots. He was very informative and went out of the way to park as close to possible. Highly recommend this tour/transportation from the port to your hotel.
We saw all the highlights of Rome in a very limited time frame. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative. We highly recommend this tour. It’s worth the cost to not be on a crowded tour bus and get to see everything!

This tour was perfect for us after our Greek Island cruise. Our driver , Alan, picked us up from the cruise port in Rome and spent 3 hours showing as the sites such as the coliseum, Trevi Fountain , Spanish Steps and more. Alan was very knowledgeable and personable. He dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the tour. It was great because we needed a ride to Rome from the cruise port and it was too early to check in our hotel so this tour fit the bill for us !
We were picked up at the port and then given a private tour of Rome. The best part was our driver went out of his way to show us things we had not seen besides the usual places. Enjoyed it very much and a great way to transfer between the cruise and your hotel with no stress
We were surprised to learn that there was a marathon the day of our tour, which prohibited access to the city center. Alessandro was very thoughtful in providing an alternate route that provided us with wonderful views of the city. He was also very helpful in pointing out things we could do later to see some of the missed sites. It would have been nice, however, if the tour company had informed us of the necessary itinerary change in advance.
Knowledgeable, helpful and experienced tour guide picked my group up from cruise port and took us to City of Rome and gave us a great tour of the city and dropped us off at our hotel. We opted not to include St. Peters since we were having a separate tour to Vatican City and St. Peters the following day. Guide was very patient with our group and extremely helpful with the individuals who had mobility problems and required a walker. He dropped us off very close to the particular site we were to visit and then returned in a designated amount of time to pick us up and take us to the next site. He could not have been more helpful or patient. He was also very congenial and professional and showed and explained so much to us about Rome.
