Il nous fera plaisir de vous accueillir à Rhodes ! Rejoignez-nous pour cette visite privée d'une demi-journée et visitez les principaux points forts de la ville de Rhodes et du magnifique village blanc de Lindos. Parcourez la magnifique côte est de Rhodes et découvrez sa riche histoire et sa beauté. Vous aurez l'occasion de visiter le port de Mandraki et la zone où se dressait autrefois le Colosse de Rhodes. Ensuite, vous traverserez l'ancienne Acropole de Rhodes. Après cela, nous continuerons sur la côte Est de l'île et atteindrons le village blanc traditionnel de Lindos, à 50 km. Vous aurez plus d'une heure de séjour pour l'explorer et visiter la magnifique Acropole au sommet, qui est la deuxième Acropole la plus populaire de Grèce après le Parthénon d'Athènes. Ensuite, nous retournerons à notre point de départ. Veuillez noter que nos chauffeurs ne sont pas des guides officiels agréés. Si vous le souhaitez, nous pouvons en réserver un pour votre groupe moyennant des frais supplémentaires. Itinéraire
Nous commencerons notre visite par une promenade autour des murs de la vieille ville de Rhodes - la plus grande ville médiévale habitée d'Europe. Il a été construit dans les années 1300 par les chevaliers de l'ordre de Saint-Jean. La ville médiévale de Rhodes est inscrite sur la liste des sites du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Si vous le souhaitez, nous pouvons prolonger la durée de la visite d'une heure et vous pouvez également avoir du temps libre pour parcourir la vieille ville et l'explorer par vous-même.
Le port de Mandraki est situé dans la nouvelle partie de la ville où vous pourrez voir des édifices monumentaux très impressionnants construits par les Italiens. À l'entrée du port, on pense que se trouvait autrefois la grande statue du colosse de Rhodes, l'une des sept merveilles du monde antique. Nous nous arrêterons pour des photos de la région.
L'église de l'Annonciation à Rhodes est la plus grande église orthodoxe de la ville avec de très beaux tableaux faits à la main sur les murs et des lustres spectaculaires.
Une fois arrivés à Monthe Smith Hill, vous profiterez d'une vue panoramique exceptionnelle sur la ville et le bord de mer, ainsi que de visiter les ruines du temple d'Apollo, l'impressionnant ancien stade de plein air et l'amphithéâtre.
Peu avant d'arriver au magnifique village traditionnel de Lindos, votre chauffeur vous arrêtera à un endroit offrant une vue panoramique fantastique sur le village avec son acropole au sommet. Après cela, nous vous laisserons à l'entrée principale du village. Vous aurez au moins une heure et demie pour l'explorer et bien sûr visiter sa célèbre Acropole. Le chauffeur vous attendra à l'endroit exact où il vous a quitté.
L'Acropole de Lindos est la deuxième plus populaire en Grèce après le Parthénon à Athènes. Il a été construit sur un rocher escarpé de 116 mètres de haut surplombant la mer bleue et le village de Lindos en contrebas. L’Acropole est dominée par l’immense temple d’Athéna Lindia, datant du IVe siècle et a atteint sa forme définitive vers 300 ans av.
Un arrêt à la pittoresque baie de Saint-Paul est également inclus. On prétend que St Paul a débarqué ici en l'an 51 après JC pour prêcher le christianisme aux Rhodiens. Il y a une petite église construite après son nom. Nous ferons un arrêt des photos pour capturer cette vue magnifique.

We had a wonderful day on Rhodes island. We were picked up at the cruise port in a very comfortable vehicle. Our guide, Aga, was very informative and provided us with lots of information on the history of the island and current life on the island. We started from the cruise port and made a photo stop at Rhodes old town. After several stops at different viewpoints we visited the Rhodes acropolis and then drove to Lindos. We stopped for refreshments and took lively photos of Lindos and the Lindos acropolis. The visit to Savvas pottery was also very informative and pleasant. The return trip to Rhodes along the coast was very interesting. We could see all the developments and tourist places. Our guide knew where to take us to miss the crowds. The tour ended in Rhodes old town where we had free time. We left the island feeling that we made the best of a one day visit. All thanks to our informative guide.

We had an absolutely fabulous private driving tour of Rhodes yesterday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Our guide, Nikolas, is a lifelong local — born and raised on Rhodes — and it showed. His knowledge of the island was incredible, and he had endless stories and information to share about the history, culture, and hidden corners of the island. We accidentally went to the wrong meeting point at the start, but Ellie was super responsive and helpful, and Nikolas came to pick us up within five minutes of us reaching out. It set the tone for a day where nothing was a problem. Since we were staying a bit further out, we adjusted the itinerary slightly to fit in a few extra sights, and Nikolas was completely flexible about it. The real highlight was when he ended up driving us through his own village — completely off the planned itinerary — because we kept asking questions about it. We got to see some incredible UNESCO sites tucked away there that we never would have found on our own. This was such a personal, authentic experience rather than a typical tour. Nikolas clearly loves sharing his island with visitors, and it made all the difference. We’d do this again in a heartbeat and would recommend this company to absolutely anyone visiting Rhodes.

Nikolas was a phenomenal guide!! Can’t say enough great things about the day… We accidentally met at the wrong meeting point & Ellie kindly coordinated with Nikolas to pick us up at the alternative location within 5 minutes. We had a fabulous day exploring the best of Rhodes. This tour more than met our expectations. Our tour guide, Mr. Aga was excellent. The tour took us from the city of Rhodes through the town of Old of Rhodes to Lindos and back to our cruise ship. Mr. Aga’s knowledge of the whole area was impressive. He also knew the cultural history, historical history and the sites to take us to. We saw the exact point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Aegean from a high hill at the top of Rhodes. It was an incredible site to see. I am mobility impaired, and Mr. Aga took this into consideration at every every site we stopped at. He was very aware of this and made accommodations for me. He stopped for lunch at a place that was not a tourist area. The food was excellent. The prices were reasonable. We would highly recommend this tour as there is no way we could’ve seen all the things we were able to see on our own in the time allotted by our cruise stop.
