We had the absolute BEST time with Silvia as she enthusiastically walked us through the incredible history of Pompeii! We learned SO much during our three hours with her regarding this incredible city and sincerely appreciated her knowledge and insight!

My wife and I had a private tour last week of Pompeii! We had the privilege of having Carmine be our tour guide. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and knew all the details of Pompeii. He also helped us avoid long waits with the many huge tour groups that were going through at the time. I would highly recommend the private tour as it was well worth the investment to see Pompeii with them.

Silvia, our guide, was excellent; she explained everything she knew about the city (which is a lot) very clearly and with a contagious passion. She answered all our questions and the tour became much more interesting with her explanations. Our family of 6 (including 4 teens) took this private guided tour of Pompei which was fantastic. Our amazing guide, Alona, knew all the ins and outs of this ancient city and led us directly to so many interesting spots. It was important for us, especially since we were traveling with our kids, to have a guide who could provide historical context and insight to everything we were seeing. We could not ask for a better guide in Alona! The best part is that she kept our entire family engaged and interested (which is no easy feat when it comes to teens!). We had a perfect tour with Carmine. He was knowledgable not only with the ruins, but the city, culture, horticulture; an immersable experience. He recommended a very nice lunch spot. When we arrived, an ice bag was waiting for some very swollen ankles. A surprise, and So kind of him. Another reason to love Italy!
