Mostar est la capitale de la région d'Herzégovine. Il est situé dans une vallée complètement entourée de montagnes. Son histoire unique attire des millions de touristes qui visitent Mostar chaque année. La ville est divisée en deux parties par la rivière Neretva - l'une étant principalement sous l'influence occidentale, et l'autre sous l'influence orientale. Ces deux cultures sont fusionnées et se rencontrent dans le centre-ville, où l'on peut voir le vieux pont spectaculaire. Les gardiens du pont ou mostari ont été l'inspiration pour le nom de cette ville. Dans la région d'Herzégovine, dans le cadre de cette visite, nous visitons également l'ancienne colonie ottomane Počitelj du XVe siècle. Grimper sur les murs vous offre une vue inoubliable sur la Neretva et le paysage hercegovian. Les visites facultatives sont aux cascades de Kravice et au village de Blagaj.
