Assos est bordée par de jolies maisons colorées, une petite place ombragée et les vestiges du château vénitien du XVe siècle sur la colline au-dessus du village, ce qui en fait un choix populaire pour les visiteurs. Il y a aussi une petite plage de galets offrant des eaux claires et une vue imprenable sur la baie. Foki Beach est une petite crique de galets pittoresque près de Fiskardo, réputée pour ses eaux cristallines, son atmosphère calme et ses oliviers et pins denses offrant de l'ombre naturelle. Il est très populaire pour nager en famille et explorer les grottes marines à proximité, souvent avec des bateaux ancrés. Fiskardo est le seul village qui a été laissé intact par le tremblement de terre de 1953 et où les bâtiments originaux de style vénitien sont encore visibles. C'est maintenant devenu populaire auprès des riches et célèbres et le port est bordé de yachts de luxe parmi les bateaux de pêche traditionnels. Après avoir quitté Fiskardo, nous ferons un retour tranquille sur la côte, en nous arrêtant pour une séance de photos au-dessus de la superbe plage de Myrtos.

Explorez la grotte magique de Melissani avec une promenade en bateau panoramique
Voyageant dans un minivan privé sur la côte ouest, notre première étape de la journée sera au village isolé d'Assos. Assos est bordée par de jolies maisons colorées, une petite place ombragée et les vestiges du château vénitien du XVe siècle sur la colline au-dessus du village, ce qui en fait un choix populaire pour les visiteurs. Il y a aussi une petite plage de galets offrant des eaux claires et une vue imprenable sur la baie. Un arrêt de 45 minutes vous permettra de prendre un café et d'explorer le village.
Foki Beach (ou Phoki) est une petite crique de galets pittoresque près de Fiskardo, dans le nord de la Céphalonie, réputée pour ses eaux cristallines et vertes profondes, son atmosphère calme et ses oliviers et pins denses offrant de l'ombre naturelle. Il est très populaire pour la baignade en famille, la plongée en apnée et l'exploration des grottes marines à proximité, souvent avec des bateaux ancrés.
Fiskardo est le seul village qui a été laissé intact par le tremblement de terre de 1953 et où les bâtiments originaux de style vénitien sont encore visibles. C'est maintenant devenu populaire auprès des riches et célèbres et le port est bordé de yachts de luxe parmi les bateaux de pêche traditionnels. Nous y passerons 2 heures afin de parcourir les rues étroites et les commerces locaux ou de déjeuner (non inclus) dans l'une des tavernes du front de mer.
Après avoir quitté Fiskardo, nous ferons un retour tranquille sur la côte, en nous arrêtant pour une séance de photos au-dessus de la superbe plage de Myrtos. Myrtos a été décrite comme « l'une des plages les plus spectaculaires de Grèce », avec son « arc d'un kilomètre et demi de galets blancs éblouissants.] Il a été utilisé comme lieu de tournage pour l'épisode de l'explosion de la mine dans le film Captain Corelli's Mandolin

What a day. The day started with being picked up at the hotel by Chris. We were then driven to a viewpoint overlooking Argostolli, then myrtos beach. Chris told us about the history of the island throughout our journey, he is so knowledgeable about the history of Kefalonia. We then headed to Assos, again stopping at viewpoints along the way to show us the area from above, before heading to Assos, a beautiful village. We stopped in Assos for a while, and Chris had kindly brought a picnic and local wine for our stop, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We then went to Fiscardo, and was able to wander around at our leisure. We were then taken to Emplisi beach where we had a swim stop for an hour. Finally finishing our tour at the famous Mellasini lake, which was breathtaking, taking a small boat tour of the lake, before sadly heading back to our hotel. We had a fabulous day, and Chris is a great asset to the company, we wouldn't hesitate to book for a further trip. Next trip is to Argostolli for an evening cruise and shopping/explore, which we are looking forward to.

We had a fantastic day seeing some of this beautiful island in comfort. Our guide Chris was superb. He was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Chris actually made the day so much better with all the things he shared with us. The little touch with the picnic was brilliant. Asos village was superb as were the views over myrtos beach. The highlight for me though was the caves. So much history. Overall a great day and I would recommend.

I had the best day yesterday visiting Assos and Fiskardo with Chris. His knowledge of the island is incredible, and he made the trip both enjoyable and personalised to my interests. Chris even prepared a picnic for us to enjoy in Assos, complete with traditional Kefalonian cheeses, sausage, fresh bread, and drinks. It was a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kefalonia, and I hope you’re lucky enough to have Chris as your guide!

Best trip ever! It was the most incredible day of our holiday! We could not have asked for a better guide than Chris, he made the day awesome! It was like being on a day out with a close family friend. It was a trip that could not be beaten and has set the bar extremely high for other trips. Had the most fantastic day exploring Kefalonia would highly recommend. Yano and Melanie were exceptional guides, wonderful knowledge of the area and even adapted the tour so we could enjoy a more tailored experience. They looked after so well throughout the day and I would happily book again. I would give 10 stars if I could. Had an amazing day out with our driver/guide Chris. The minibus was spotless and very comfortable, Chris was an excellent driver, very knowledgeable. He pointed out places of interest and stopped anytime we wished to take photos, he even brought a delicious picnic for us all. Well worth going on this trip.
