Enjoyable day trip to Sintra
My wife and I had a wonderful day visiting the area around Sintra together with 3 other couples. Our guide, Joaquim, expertly navigated our group through the crowds while providing insightful commentary on every point of interest and becoming an impromptu photographer for the group. The trip also included a lunch stop at a restaurant (great food and alcoholic beverages), at Colores, and at Caiscas. We highly recommend this tour!

Pedro knows his stuff
Pedro is a fantastic tour guide and really knows the information about Sintra and Pena Palace. He also allowed us to decide how the tour would go whether we wanted purely information or the ability to just take pictures. As a group we opted for a hybrid and he knew some great places for photos. A member of the group also suggested that we eat later in the tour rather than at lunchtime which Pedro was more than happy to accommodate.
The only negative for me was the vehicle and for it not being a hot day it wouldn’t have been an issue but the A/C in the mini van was intermittent and after walking up hill in the heat then getting into the van it was uncomfortable

Great day!
Excellent guide. The best we have ever had. He goes above and beyond his duties to make sure we saw everything, understood the history and was as comfortable as possible. The tour of Sinatra was full of history and beauty. Thank you Joaqueem (spelling?)

My husband and I had an amazing time on this guided tour. Our guide, Joaquim, was extremely knowledgeable of each site we visited. He also gave us some good tips of where the best photography shots would be, giving us ample time at each location to get our pictures. He suggested a good breakfast spot to try some local pastries and also took us to a delicious lunch with fresh seafood. The tour was 8 people in total including our guide which felt like a great size to travel with. We saw some really amazing sites but my favorite was the Regaleira. The craftsmanship was just beautiful. You definitely get your bang for your buck with this tour. I would highly recommend booking it.

An Incredible Full-Day Sintra Tour, Ask for Pedro
We did the full-day tour covering Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, and Cabo da Roca, and our guide Pedro made the whole trip. His knowledge of portugal's history was fantastic. He was engaging, personable, funny, and clearly passionate about sharing the region's stories. He also timed everything perfectly, getting us to Sintra early to beat the crowds and keeping the day relaxed but efficient.
If you're booking a Sintra tour, ask for Pedro. He turned a great itinerary into an unforgettable day.
