Cette visite vous emmène de Dubrovnik à Split avec un arrêt à Ston. Ston était la deuxième ville la plus importante, après Dubrovnik, de la République de Dubrovnik. Ston possède des murs construits entre le XIVe et le XVe siècle et s'étendant sur 5 kilomètres de long. Les murs étaient fortifiés par quarante tours et bastions. Ston possède également de grandes salines naturelles au pied du canal de Ston, où le sel marin est produit depuis des siècles - un précieux produit monopolistique de la République de Dubrovnik. L'histoire de Split remonte déjà à 17 siècles et remonte à l'époque où l'empereur romain Dioclétien décida de construire son palais directement sur la péninsule, près de la grande ville romaine de Salona, où il souhaitait passer les dernières années de sa vie. Au cours de ces 1700 ans, le palais s'est lentement transformé en une ville qui séduit encore aujourd'hui par sa riche tradition, sa glorieuse histoire et la beauté de son patrimoine naturel et culturel. Split est également inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1979.

À Ston, nous ferons une visite à pied, puis du temps libre pour prendre un café, un petit-déjeuner ou faire du shopping.
Une fois arrivés à Split, je vous montrerai le palais de Dioclétien et la célèbre Riva de Split. Lorsque nous aurons terminé notre visite historique à pied, vous aurez suffisamment de temps libre pour déjeuner, vous détendre ou faire du shopping.

We had an amazing transfer from Dubrovnik to Split. Stipe was on time, kind, and professional. The drive was comfortable thanks to the luxurious car, and we took pictures at a number of picturesque locations. An excellent mode of transportation between the two cities.

We booked this tour because we needed to go from Dubrovnik to Split and it was a perfect pick for us.Our guide stopped in Ston and showed us Ston and also we stopped in a little winery on the way and the red wine was amazing
