Circuit au départ de Sesimbra en direction de Lisbonne. Visite du sanctuaire du Christ-Roi. En traversant le pont du 25 avril en direction de Belém, vous pourrez visiter le monastère des Hiéronymites, le monument aux Découvertes et la tour de Belém. Déjeuner dans un restaurant des docks de Lisbonne (ou autre suggestion). Temps libre dans le quartier Baixa de Lisbonne (Rossio et Chiado). En passant par Alfama sur le chemin du retour et en traversant le pont Vasco da Gama jusqu'à atteindre Sesimbra.

Visite du sanctuaire national du Christ-Roi. L'entrée du sanctuaire est gratuite. On peut y admirer la statue du Christ-Roi et la vue impressionnante sur le Tage, Lisbonne et d'autres régions environnantes. Mais si vous voulez monter dans l'ascenseur de la statue, le billet n'est pas inclus dans le prix de la visite.

Francisco is one of the best tour guide I had. It is important for day long trips. He made the Lisbon tour really enjoyable with the right amount of information and site seeing and independent times for shopping. We had a wonderful day in Lisbon. We explored the entire city, from its most historic neighborhoods to its most modern and vibrant areas. The contrast between the city’s different neighborhoods—including those along the riverfront and the viewpoints in the higher areas—has left us eager to return and explore it in even greater detail.
Today, the five of us had the great pleasure of spending a whole day in Lisbon. We were accompanied by Francisco from Badger Tours. We are a couple from the USA going to Sesimbra, Portugal for 11 years. The service provided by Francisco from Bager tours is excellent. He is an experienced tour guide and driver with good English and willing to help you to learn more about this beautiful country. What usually happens is: my husband and I read a lot about this country, emailed our ideas to Francisco and he acceptes them and add something new to our tour. For example, this year we had a wonderful tuk-tuk tour of Lisbon with an excellent driver-tour guide. As we have seen a lot in Portugal for 11 years this year we practically had culinary tours of different restaurants and markets. Francisco was always very helpful. We definitely recommend Badger Tour and Francisco. We became friends with his wife Graca, their daughters and a granddaughter.

We were a group of nine friends who joined Badger Tours in Lisbon for a wine tour, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Our guides, Francisco and Leonardo, were absolutely fantastic – not only did they take us to three wonderful wineries, but they also showed us breathtaking viewpoints along the way. At each winery, we enjoyed five tastings (two white wines, two reds, and one Moscatel), all of which were excellent. What made the day even more special was the personal touch: our guides shared stories, local knowledge, and even brought us to a hidden gem of a restaurant right by the water – a place we never would have found on our own. The combination of beautiful scenery, delicious wines, and outstanding guiding made this tour one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Lisbon and its wine culture in a truly memorable way!

We used Badger Tours on our recent Sesimbra family vacation and they were outstanding. We were a large group (13 total) and they provided us with airport transportation and a private tour of Lisbon. We spent a week's vacation in Sesimbra on April 21 ,2025. Francisco kindly picked us up at the airport and during the Journey, he explained the history of the Lisbon area and the history of Sesimbra. Highly recommend Badger Tour services! Our group was in Sesimbra for a week to support some American expat families. Our team did the programming for the children and we had planned for two field trips with middle and highschool aged kids. Due to closures and weather everything we had preplanned for both trips was not doable. Enter Francisco and Badger Tours! Francisco offered several options to rescue us. His options were far superior to anything we had pre-planned. He arranged for the kids to visit a tile-making establishment, Azulejos de Azeitão where kids learned about the process and painted their own tiles which were later baked and Badger Tours brought to our hotel for the kids! Also in the outing, he arranged for us to visit Setubal as well as visit a Santa Margarida cave in Arrabida. During our trip back to the hotel and Sesimbra Castle he stopped at several beautiful vistas to explain to the kids what they were seeing in the distance. Things like the longest beach in Europe, or an old convent, or the view of the town. Every adult and child on the tour had an excellent experience. Francisco, Ines, and Leonard were excellent drivers and hosts for all of the adults and children (a group of 21) during the outing. Our second preplanned field trip with kids to Lisbon was met with bad weather. Again, Francisco had incredible options for us that were inside from the rain. The kids enjoyed a tasty snack at Pastéis de Belém, visited the Museu de Marinha, viewed the exhibits in the Lisbon Aquarium and enjoyed a cable car ride view of part of the harbors of Lisbon. Again Francisco’s plans were far superior to what we had originally considered. In between the field trips with students, our adult team also took a day trip to Lisbon and the Badger Tours team. We were treated to visiting multiple historic sites and Francisco provided information at every place we stopped along the way. Sadly we had to leave Portugal, Lisbon, and beautiful Sesimbra behind as Badger Tours drove us to the airport. By the end of our time, we had come to feel like Badger Tours were old family friends who were hosting us on a visit and sharing with us their beautiful history, culture, and landscape. We shared stories of family and grandkids, stories of fishing with our fathers, and discussions about those things that bring us all joy in life. If you find yourself in Sesimbra, walk down April 25 Avenue and stop in the shop for BadgerTours to book a trip, rent a bike, or just meet some great Portuguese friends. -Bill V.
Your words are very important for our entire team. It was indeed a challenge to transfer around 100 people from 50 different flights in and out. We did well, all transfers on time for larger or smaller groups. Regarding the tours, it was possible to give you options that fit the profile of the groups for the youngest and then also for the adults to have a different experience in Lisbon, and also in our wonderful Sesimbra and Arrabida. Although the weather conditions were not the best, it is always possible to have some rain in January. I hope there will be another opportunity to return to Sesimbra, so you can enjoy our beach, gastronomy and tours even more. A big HUG from our Badger Tours team
