Visite privée de la cuisine végétarienne romaine

Description

Silvia was wonderful! We walked around the open air market and discussed local, in-season produce. We sampled delicious cheese. She also took us to many local eateries where we sampled the best that Rome has to offer! Pizza, suppli, a variety of baked goods, fried artichoke, and gelato… all were delicious. We walked the neighborhood and she explained ruins that we would have never seen. Exceptional service!
We had such a fantastic time on this vegetarian food tour in Rome! Our guide, Vaneeza, was absolutely wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about both the food and the city’s history. She made the experience feel fun, personal, and engaging from start to finish. We stopped at five different places and tasted an amazing variety of local favorites: pizza, suppli (a Roman must!), delicious falafels in the Jewish district, and then gelato and Maritozzi with espresso in the charming Trastevere neighborhood. Every stop offered something unique, and every bite was delicious. The tour was the perfect blend of food, culture, and storytelling, we left full, happy, and with a deeper appreciation for Roman cuisine. Highly recommend this experience — and if you can, definitely ask for Vaneeza!
If you’re looking for a delicious and fun plant based food tour in Rome, you definitely want Sylvia to be your guide. She lead us, like the home grown local that she is, to some of the best hidden bakeries and restaurants in town, including a delectable vegan gelateria. Sylvia is one of those people you don’t want to say goodbye to, she was so easy and fun to be around! We will definitely be encouraging our friends and family to eat in Rome with Sylvia as their guide.
This was a fantastic tour overall for our family, and Silvia was an outstanding guide! We really enjoyed walking around the city to multiple locations, and sampling both savory and sweet foods from some great places. We loved that Silvia integrated Rome history and facts about the city, with facts about the food itself- it was super educational. And all the foods were delicious- we are vegetarian and it was fantastic- cheeses, pizza, suppli, artichokes, canoli, gelato, and more- truly a fun experience for our whole family! Would highly recommend to all travelers to Rome!
Orso is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable and fun. He personalized our tour. He gave us good restaurant and sightseeing tips.
About the guide himself- Wow ! Gabrielle was fantastic! He made us feel at home and is so knowledgeable and passionate about the place and it’s history and food! We learnt a lot as we toured and savored some vegetarian delicacies that never stopped coming …with a surprise twist at the end!. Gabrielle also took us to eateries with Italian delicacies and also explained about those food items in greater detail. His incorporation of training an apprentice as we toured was so smooth that at the end we almost forgot that this was a food tour - felt like just some good friends hanging out and talking about history eating great food! If u are a vegetarian and need a primer on what to eat and where to shop for some great ingredients for an Italian cooking this is the tour for you. My pro tip is wear super comfortable shoes and be ready to walk a lot as you soak up all the goodness of Italian vegetarian menu II would recommend this trip to anyone who is a foodie who wants to also truly hear the the history of this magnificent city! Gratzie milay Gabrielle! And Sabina a fantastic co-host!
