Il n'y a qu'une poignée de baies bioluminescence ou bioluminescentes dans les Caraïbes, et pas beaucoup plus que cela dans le monde. Ils ne se produisent qu'à certains endroits car ils ne se produisent naturellement que dans des conditions très spécifiques. L'eau de Bio Bay est très chaude et salée avec une abondance de nutriments et d'herbes marines, l'environnement idéal pour le plancton microscopique spécial. Ces planctons sont présents sur toute l'île, et dans les Caraïbes, mais la concentration que nous trouvons dans Bio Bay est ce qui fait une expérience fantastique. Grâce à cette « bioluminescence » du plancton, il produit un très court éclat de lumière lorsqu’il est stimulé par le mouvement. La baie Bio est mieux vue en flottant dans l'eau. Grâce à votre équipement de plongée, vous flotterez dans cette baie magique hypnotisée par vos mouvements créant des traînées de lumière dans l’eau. Ce spectacle de lumière chatoyante est génial, et si le moment et les conditions sont bons, vous pourriez même voir les vers luisants qui s'accouplent deux à trois jours après la pleine lune.

It was fantastic. We went with a five year-old and were a little worried when we booked it. Turns out she did great. The snorkeling was great. She had a life vest and was able to stay close to me. The whole family loved the stingrays and we got great pics with the starfish. I would highly recommend going with Captain Charles.
The Bio tour was great! Highly recommend! The weather was bad the night we were supposed to go and they kindly moved us to the next night!
This experience was amazing. Jordan was the very best guide! He was wonderful with our 3 kids under 5 and told us all about the area. The boat ride was so much fun, we cranked up “Under the Sea” and “I am Moans” on the Bluetooth. We saw the beautiful sunset from the boat ! We were amazed at the Bioluminescent Bay and the water show from the plankton. The 3 year old made the glowing water shoot out like Elsa did in the movie Frozen. Our son really got the water glowing with his fast movements..This was a sight everyone show see and this is the company to trust!! Thanks Jordan!!

Amazing way to see the bioluminescent bay in small, modern and lovely boat. So few of these bays in the world and the ability to snorkel at night and see the luminescence was amazing. Justin, our captain, was kind and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!
Our whole group loved this excursion! Our captain Jordan was informative and kind (we had 4 children in our group) and we loved the bioluminescence experience! Would definitely recommend the private tour, our group of 8 was very happy.

We are a group of 4, on a girls trip. We looked at all the options for the bioluminescent bay tour but most were very expensive just to be on a large crowded boat. The 4 of us were able to book a beautiful and private charter boat with an awesome tour guide and split the overall cost for the same as we would have individually paid with other group charters. The experience was a once in a lifetime and worth every penny. The bioluminescence was so bright and beautiful! I highly recommend this tour. I will be bringing my whole family back to see this and will most definitely use this company again!

It was a great experience! The pickup was a smooth process and the van was nice. The boat was comfortable and the ride to and from the bay was fun. We all enjoyed making the water glow while we swam in it! Our guide was great and provided interesting facts about the area and what makes the water glow.
THIS IS A MUST DO!! Oh my goodness, this is so neat!! We absolutely loved every single thing about this!! It was mesmerizing being in the water and lighting up
