Marae Arahurahu est l'un des temples polynésiens antiques les mieux conservés de Tahiti, situé dans la vallée luxuriante de Paea. Autrefois site sacré pour les cérémonies spirituelles et sociales.Ce site sacré, autrefois utilisé pour d’importants rituels polynésiens, est magnifiquement restauré et offre un aperçu unique de la culture traditionnelle de l’île. Avec ses plates-formes en pierre, ses statues tiki et son cadre tranquille, c’est une étape idéale pour ceux qui recherchent l’histoire, la nature et une connexion plus profonde avec les racines spirituelles de Tahiti.
Les Grottes de Mara'a sont une merveille naturelle cachée dans la côte ouest luxuriante de Tahiti. Entourées d'une végétation tropicale dense, ces grandes grottes d'eau douce sont connues pour leur brume fraîche, leurs entrées couvertes de fougères et leur atmosphère calme et mystérieuse. Une fois visité par Paul Gauguin, le site offre une évasion paisible et un aperçu de la beauté naturelle et des légendes de l’île.
Situé à Papara sur la côte sud-ouest de Tahiti, est l'un des spots de surf les plus populaires de l'île. Connue pour ses vagues constantes et son sable noir, cette plage décontractée attire à la fois les surfeurs locaux et les spectateurs. Avec une vue sur les montagnes et une ambiance conviviale, c'est une étape parfaite pour découvrir la culture du surf de Tahiti.
Situé à Mataiea sur la côte ouest de Tahiti, se trouvent une oasis paisible remplie de sources d'eau douce, de fleurs tropicales et de sentiers pédestres ombragés.
Les cascades de Valhi sont un endroit naturel à couper le souffle niché dans les paysages tropicaux luxuriants de Tahiti. Entourées d'une végétation vibrante, les chutes tombent en cascade dans une piscine cristalline, parfaite pour les photos et un moment de tranquillité. Faarumai Waterfalls est une série spectaculaire de trois cascades nichées dans la forêt tropicale humide de Tahiti. Vaimahuta culmine à environ 80 mètres (262 pi), Haamaremare Rahi est le plus haut avec environ 100 mètres (328 pi), et Haamaremare Iti mesure environ 40 mètres (131 pi). Accessibles par une petite randonnée panoramique, les chutes sont entourées d'une végétation luxuriante et offrent de superbes possibilités de photos. Point Venus est un point de repère historique sur la côte nord de Tahiti, célèbre pour sa plage de sable noir et son phare emblématique. Elle doit son nom à la visite en 1769 du capitaine James Cook, qui observa le transit de Vénus depuis cet endroit – un événement important dans l'histoire de l'astronomie. La région devient par la suite un site clé des missionnaires Français et de l'activité coloniale. Aujourd'hui, les visiteurs peuvent se baigner, se détendre sur la plage, se promener le long du littoral et admirer une vue panoramique sur la baie de Matavai, tout en marchant à travers un site riche en histoire et culture tahitiennes.
Tahara Viewpoint offre l'une des vues panoramiques les plus époustouflantes sur Tahiti. De cet endroit surélevé, vous pouvez voir des vallées luxuriantes, des collines vallonnées et l'océan Pacifique étincelant s'étendant jusqu'à l'horizon. Idéal pour la photographie et la réflexion tranquille, le belvédère permet aux visiteurs d’apprécier la beauté naturelle de l’île et ses paysages étendus. Maui is very knowledgeable, speaks great English and passionate about the island of Tahiti. We had huge rains, that closed many of the roads. Maui was very accommodating and quick to make alterations to our island tour, so we were able to see beautiful Tahiti.

Great tour. Saw all the island and Māowi our guide was a lovely guy and gave us lots of interesting information. We were on a cruise as d booked this independently and so glad we did as none of the cruise excursions went all the way round the island. Beautiful island we so much to see. Would highly recommend. Picked up and dropped off at the cruise terminal and was so easy to locate guide. Also took into consideration my somewhat limited mobility due to needing a joint replacement! Excellent trip!

Originally we were going to rent a car and circle the island but, boy are we glad we didn't. Maui, our guide showed us things we never would have found by ourselves. He was so wonderful --highly thoughtful and warm. He made it more of a cultural experience and not merely a sightseeing tour by his conversation and pacing. He also brought plentiful cold fruit and water to keep us refreshed. Another factor that was good was the great communication from the tour provider, Arthur. He made great suggestions for our tour timing that cut down on crowds. Love, love this tour.

A great experience! From the WhatsApp reservation to the prompt on time start. Our driver and guide Maui was so knowledgeable and personable, he adjusted the tour to our requirements and interests. Artur our tour guide was exceptional and the tour was very well done. Our van was clean, comfortable and most importantly, air conditioned! Artur was very informative about the Polynesian culture and he loved showing us his lovely island of Tahiti.
