I thoroughly enjoyed my tour to the Aegina Island. Panayiotis is a wonderful tour guide who is very knowledgeable and kind. Aegina is a much quieter island compared to Santorini and Mykonos which is the perfect to place to relax your mind. I will definitely book with this company for future trips. You will not be disappointed.
Full day experience of local island 1 hr ferry ride from Athens. Much better than spending most of your time on boat island hopping. Good balance of sightseeing and time to experience local restaurants/shopping.
This 8 hour tour is amazing. The ruins are magnificent and the scenery spectacular. What made this tour special was our tour guide Panayiotis. His knowledge of Greek Mythology and familiarity of Greece is unmatched. I cannot say enough positive things about him and the tour company but would recommend to anyone who is looking for a wonderful 8 hour private tour of the island, experience the best pistachios and pistachio ice cream you won't find a better company
Thank you!

We have visited multiple temples in Greece. The Parthenon atop the Acropolis, the Temple of Hephaistos next to the ancient Agora in Athens, and the temple of Poseidon in Sounion are but the highlights. The Temple of Concordia, in Agrigento Sicily by the way is another wonder and is still on my bucket list. But what a pleasant surprise this temple on Aigina was. Firstly, it only took a 1-hour and 15 minute ferry ride to get to the island from Pireus. Then no more than 20 minutes to drive and visit the Cathedral of St. Nektarios and another short drive to the Temple of Athina. Mind you, we went in October so there wasn't so much traffic and tourism and the weather was just right. Driving to St. Nektarios was easy and the visit itself was quick. The facilities are well kept. Check out the grounds and the garden areas. Beautiful. Please be mindful that women need to wear trousers or a long skirt. If you don't have one, there are some long make-shift skirts that you can wear over your shorts in front of the entrance at the cathedral. Following a visit to the cathedral, it only takes another 10 minutes or so to drive the temple of Athina. In October you are sure to find a place to park in front of the grounds entrance. Tourist buses may take up lots of space so just be prepared to park further down the road during the busy season. But on this particular visit we had the whole place to ourselves. The grounds have been renovated to offer better access to the public. And I must say, that the temple itself is equally very well preserved. Oh, and the view is simply stunning! Our ancient forefathers surely knew how to pick the best spots! Take some time to soak it all in. There is the quiet of nature to be heard. Simply delightful. And on this occasion, I am glad I didn't make too much fuss for not having visited the Acropolis because the Temple of Athina was a first for me and certainly didn't disappoint!
Thank you very much. Aegina (the ... Pistachio Island) is not a touristy place that foreign visitors know about. However, as you discovered, there is so much to explore and enjoy! You are surrounded by mostly locals, which makes it an authentic and easy-to-visit from Atehns "water" destination. The Temple of Athena Aphaia is unique and has a fantastic location. Thank you for taking this tour with us and elaborating on your great review.
The tour was modified to suit our requirements with no fuss. It was a special day and nothing was too difficult for Panagiotis. My cousin and I truly enjoyed ourselves and the service was top notch. Thank you for a very memorable day.
Thank you very much ladies. We are happy to know that you appreciated Panayiotis' efforts to adjust to your needs.
