À seulement 35 minutes de Barcelone avec le train à grande vitesse (AVANT) et à seulement 45 minutes de la France, la ville a été témoin de toutes les grandes conquêtes, batailles et conflits à travers l'histoire. Fondée par les Romains il y a plus de 2000 ans, à Gérone, vous pouvez vous promener à travers les anciens murs romains et médiévaux pour voir la ville du haut. Le quartier juif et médiéval de la ville est l'un des mieux conservés d'Europe, sans aucun doute un trésor à découvrir. Des rues étroites et pavées avec une histoire dans chaque coin, dans chaque pierre. Berceau de Nahmanide, grand rabbin et philosophe kabbaliste juif du XIIIe siècle. Vous pouvez visiter les ponts sur la rivière Onyar, Gustave Eiffel a construit les plus célèbres d'entre eux et profiter sans hâte, de la tranquillité d'une belle petite ville

We booked the group History and Legends tour and it wound up being private, just our group of six people. Carolina was a wonderful guide. She was lively, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our guide Miguel is one of the most knowledgeable guides we have been with in Spain, mostly because we have based our visits to Jewish history in different parts of Spain and Girona has a big part of this history. Everything went very good, we also chose a time of the year and week to appreciate more the city since there was not to many people. The company we chose is completely recomendable.

Second time in Girona and this tour was by far the best experience. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided interesting facts explaining the different topics in very simple terms for our kids to understand. He took the time to walk through the. City stopping for the group to take pictures and enjoy each stop.
