Une excursion d'une journée autour de l'emblématique Ring of Kerry, traversant des terres agricoles vallonnées parsemées de troupeaux laitiers et de moutons blancs moelleux paissant tranquillement. Admirez le littoral taillé par les vagues le long du Wild Atlantic Way, visitez des forts et des châteaux en pierre vieux de plusieurs siècles, le phare de l'île de Valentia et la station du câble transatlantique, le village de pêcheurs de Portmagee (une étape idéale pour le déjeuner). Kerry Cliffs d'où les meilleures vues sur les îles Skellig peuvent être trouvées avec des milliers d'oiseaux de mer, y compris les macareux. Vues fantastiques sur les lacs de Killarney depuis Ladies View et aussi la cascade de Torc. Parmi les autres attractions que nous pouvons visiter, citons le village de Kerry Bog (une colonie rurale reconstruite du XIXe siècle), la démonstration de chiens de berger de Kells avec Brendan le berger et ses chiens de berger, le Skellig Experience Centre. Denis was our guide and was so informative. He was kind to take us to places we wanted to visit as well as introduced us to unique places we never would have imagined. The cliffs of Kerry were the highlight. We stopped for lunch at O’Dwyers. Private car allowing us to travel Ring of Skelligs was fantastic.
Denis was on time and enlightened us with a wonderful tour. His humor was fun. We went to places that buses cannot go to. We went over to an island and had lunch there and were able to go all around the island. We really also enjoyed the sheep herding tour. This was a magnificent tour. I would recommend to anyone.
My husband and I did this tour and it was by far the highlight of our trip! Everything I read before coming to Ireland said not to try to drive the Ring of Kerry yourself (which after seeing it I would 100% agree with) so we looked into taking a tour but the bus tours only make 3 stops and it felt like they didn’t get to really see everything, so after reading other reviews we decided to go with Denis and I’m so glad that we did! Denis is incredibly nice and very knowledgeable about the area and he is also a very good driver. I am someone who is gets very nervous driving with people I don’t know but he was fantastic and it was one of the least stressful passenger experiences I’ve ever had, despite the Irish roads being very narrow. This tour is well worth the money and lasts the whole day (we started at 9 and got back about 5:30). We got to see so many amazing and beautiful places and stopped numerous times to take pictures (Denis is also a good photographer and was happy to take some photos of my husband and I together) and hike up to the most amazing view of the Kerry Cliffs! Since you are in a car and not on a bus you get to see a lot of things you would otherwise miss and/or not know about and Denis is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history and answered all our questions. Denis also gives you the option to stop at a sheep dog herding demonstration and a Pete bog settlement which we originally thought could be kind of kitschy but we absolutely loved the sheep dog demonstration and the owner and his dog have actually won the international competition. Denis also recommend an amazing restaurant for lunch which had the best Irish meal we have had so far and he also recommended a stop at a chocolate factory which does a free tasting. Finally, Denis also gave us great recommendations for additional things to do in Killarney as well as in the other areas we are going after. Both my husband and I loved this tour and would highly recommend it!
Spectacular opportunity to see such a beautiful area of Ireland and the Ring of Kerry! Denis was so very engaging and friendly. He accommodated all the points of interest, even topping our expectations and anticipated imagined experiences. Will take another visit and do it again!!!
This tour is really strange recommended. Denis is an attentive and prepared driver, an expert in the area. We arrived with a list of the destinations we would like to see and he was able to suggest what to remove and what to add to stay on schedule and be able to see the most beautiful places. We were very satisfied with the day. Thank you Denis, we are sure to recommend the best tour!

There's so much to see on this circuit. Be sure to tell your guide what interests you; Denis O'Connor was excellent in listening to our interests and picking sites that were great for us (all of them), including some surprising sites we were not aware of. He was very informative and friendly, so I highly recommend him. I'm so glad I decided not to drive this myself!
This tour is the best. Denis is local and has been doing it for decades. You will see amazing sites you will never see on your own or on a bus. Worth twice the money so tip well.
Dennis was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. We truly enjoyed the day and our conversations. It was great to appreciate the scenery without worrying about the driving.
