Wow! Sofia was an absolutely amazing tour guide. So friendly and warm, we all felt comfortable straight away. We have 2 kids aged 10 & 11 years and Sofia made sure they were fully engaged through out the whole tour. Highly recommend Sofia to all travellers!

Sofia is a great tour guide! So friendly and provided so much information. The tour was well paced, stopping to explain various areas of the Alcazar in detail. She was very knowledgeable about the history of not only Sevilla but Spain. She added to the experience by providing photos/maps to help explain the history. I would definitely recommend Sofia for tours.
Sofia was a very pleasant and supportive guide, especially since I was having mobility issues that day. She provided interestings highlights of the Alcazar and answered all our questions. The tour did not go into as much depth as we had expected and ended abruply with the last 15 minutes to explore the gardens on our own. Personally, we would have preferred more history inside the Alacazar. Still, we were glad we booked a private tour.
Julia, Thanks for taking the time to write a review for me. However, I would like to apologize if the tour did not fully meet your expectations. When we first met, you mentioned you were not sure if you were going to be able to do the whole tour. Of course, from that moment, my main goal was to make you feel as comfortable as possible and I promised you would indeed make it (and you did). You said you would not be able to stand for long, as you had to keep moving, so obviously some of the explanations were given as we kept moving around. We also found you places to sit whenever it was possible. We managed to see everything the tour normally covers, and you said no question was left unanswered. If you had had other questions, I would have happily answered them all. Obviously each person is different, and this is what private tours are for: some people love pictures, and so they ask me to take extra pictures; some others want to know more about traditions, and they ask for further information; others are history buffs, and we discuss about whatever they are interested in. I'm happy to customize, but clients have to communicate if they want further information about a specific topic. I never look at the clock when I'm guiding, sometimes tours may be 10 minutes shorter, sometimes 20 minutes longer. I focus on the wellbeing of clients and quality of the tour. I honestly thought that the tour had met your expectations, especially considering that I tried my best to give the tour making you feel comfortable, so I cannot help but feel very sad about this review. At the end I said I hoped you were happy with the tour and you said you were. Honestly I would have preferred to hear this from you directly, that way we could have found a solution to make this a 5 star experience. Anyway, I am glad that you liked the overall experience. Our tour guide Sofia was so knowledgeable and provided us the best visit to Real Alcazar. She was impassioned about Seville history and interesting facts about the site. She even had a tablet to show us historical pictures and videos pertinent to the tour. We highly recommend this tour with Sofia!!

Our guide Sophia was far more than a tour guide — she was a true teacher and passionate storyteller. She brought history to life with depth and context, even using a tablet to show movie scenes filmed at the locations we visited, which made the experience so engaging.
