Hakone est une magnifique région montagneuse du parc national Fuji-Hakone-Izu. À seulement une demi-heure de Tokyo en train à grande vitesse, une excursion d'une journée à Hakone est un incontournable. Célèbre pour ses sources chaudes, son lac de cratère pittoresque (lac Ashi) et sa vue imprenable sur le mont Fuji, Hakone est complètement entourée par la magnifique nature du Japon. Cette visite d'une journée complète à Hakone est un mélange soigneusement sélectionné d'histoire, de culture, de nature et d'activités amusantes. Cette visite privée comprend un train à grande vitesse de Tokyo à Odawara et retour, une visite de l'ancien sanctuaire de Hakone, une promenade en bateau sur le lac Ashi, un téléphérique jusqu'au mont volcanique. Hakone, des œufs noirs dans les champs sulfureux d'Owakudani et un visite du musée en plein air de Hakone ou d'un onsen japonais traditionnel. De plus, vous vous promènerez le long de l'avenue Old Cedar - construite au début du XVIIe siècle, c'est l'une des plus anciennes routes du Japon, et vous magasinerez des souvenirs authentiques dans la ville thermale de Hakone Yumoto.

Votre guide vous attendra dans le hall de votre hôtel entre 7h30 et 8h30 (selon l'emplacement de votre hôtel). Vous vous rendrez à la gare de Shinagawa ou de Tokyo en métro ou en taxi si vous préférez. Les frais de transport jusqu'à la gare de Tokyo sont à votre charge.
Arrivée à la gare d'Odawara dans le parc national Fuji-Hakone-Izu en Shinkansen (train à grande vitesse)
Transfert à la ville thermale de Hakone Yumoto en train local.
Visitez le magnifique sanctuaire de Hakone datant de 1667 et célèbre pour sa porte Torii dans l'eau. Découvrez l'histoire du sanctuaire de Hakone et de la religion indigène du Japon, le shintoïsme. Promenez-vous ensuite sur l'un des rares tronçons restants de l'ancienne route du Tokaido, construite au début du XVIIe siècle. Suivez exactement le même itinéraire que celui emprunté par les voyageurs il y a des centaines d’années.
Embarquez pour une croisière touristique sur le grand lac Ashi et imprégnez-vous de la vue imprenable sur le mont Fuji depuis l'eau (en fonction de la météo).
Montez à bord du téléphérique de Hakone pour gravir le mont. Hakone où vous verrez le mont Fuji depuis un autre point de vue (en fonction de la météo).
Entrez dans la « vallée de l'enfer » où les vapeurs sulfureuses sont expulsées du volcan actif et dégustez des œufs noirs légendaires cuits dans les sources chaudes locales. (ne vous inquiétez pas, c'est parfaitement sûr !)
Depuis Owakudani (vallée de l'enfer), nous nous rendrons à la gare de Gora via le téléphérique où nous prendrons ensuite le Hakonetozan - Téléphérique - un système ferroviaire construit dans les montagnes où vous pourrez profiter de la vue paisible sur les environs.
Choisissez entre une visite au musée d'art en plein air de Hakone ou un Onsen traditionnel pour l'avant-dernière étape de cette visite. Au musée en plein air de Hakone, l’art et la nature ne font qu’un. Vous verrez des œuvres d'artistes renommés tels que Henry Moore et Pablo Picasso ainsi que des artistes japonais célèbres. Au Onsen (source chaude), vous vous détendrez et rafraîchirez votre corps et votre esprit. Il s'agit de l'expérience culturelle ultime au Japon.* Veuillez noter que les maillots de bain ne sont pas autorisés dans l'onsen. Vous entrerez nu dans les piscines (séparé par sexe). Les serviettes, les articles de toilette et les lotions pour la peau sont tous fournis, vous n'avez donc rien à apporter avec vous. *Si vous avez des tatouages, veuillez nous en informer lors de la réservation et nous vous emmènerons dans un onsen acceptant les tatouages.
Que vous choisissiez d'explorer le musée ou de vous imprégner des sources chaudes, nous terminerons la visite par un rapide coup d'œil dans les boutiques de souvenirs de Hakone Yumoto.
De Hakone-Yumoto, nous retournerons à Odawara via un train local, puis nous retournerons en train à grande vitesse jusqu'à Tokyo.
Nous retournons à Shinagawa ou à la gare de Tokyo en train à grande vitesse. Votre visite se termine à la gare et votre guide vous aidera à prendre un taxi ou un métro jusqu'à votre hôtel. Veuillez informer votre guide si vous avez besoin qu'il vous accompagne à votre hôtel.

When you go to Tokyo, definitely include the Private Hakone Tour with Miko. You’ll ride a Bullet Train, a cable car, and a Pirate ship all while enjoying the beautiful mountains around Mt. Fuji. Miko also took us to and from our hotel, to guide us through Tokyo’s complicated subway systems. Then she emails all of the photos she took of us along with a written recap of the places we visited during the tour. She is an Amazing Tour Guide and we think of her as family.

Beautiful temples. Lots of walking along well maintained areas. Without Yasu I would still be lost in the bowels of the subway. 😮😮

This was a great tour and Yasu was so down to earth and fun. He knew a lot about the places we visited, he had little tricks to get us some great photos without having to stand in long lines, and one of our favorite parts of the day was actually sitting at lunch chatting! The tour itself offered some really fun ways to see some very interesting areas. Trains, cable cars, ropeway, and a really cool tour boat!

We had the most amazing day with our superb guide Paiva who looked after us so well all day from picking us up to dropping us off 11 hours later, she was very knowledgeable and aware of our needs at all times. It was the most magical day I had been worrying I would not be able to cope with all the walking steps etc., but I had no problem at all so don’t be put off.

We traveled from Tokyo to Odawara Station by Shinkansen (bullet train). From there we transferred to Hakone Yumoto by local train and then boarded a taxi which took us directly to Hakone Shrine. Hakone Shrine We explored Hakone Shrine which dates back to 1667, discussed Shintoism, and learned about how this shrine is linked to the first Emperor of Japan. We took pictures by the torii gate in the water. Lake Ashi We took a boat across Lake Ashi, once believed to house the 9 headed dragon that caused steam eruptions by the nearby mountains. Hakone Ropeway We took a nice ropeway up towards Owakudani Owakudani We explored an active volcano and ate black eggs, adding 7 years to your life! Hakone Tozan Cable Car We rode on a cable car through the mountains. This special cable car system dates back to 1922. Hakone Open Air Museum We visited Japan’s first open-air museum which includes works from Henry Moore and Picasso and local Japanese artists Ryoji Goto (the black and red dancing people), and Takamichi Ito (the steel turning sticks) amongst others. Finally, we traveled back to Tokyo by Shinkansen.

Sid was so organized - the day was well planned, he communicated the plan very well, kept us up to date on each stage (ie prepped us for the next step at each stage), was very knowledgeable, gave expert food tips!, and was amazing with the kids (and big kids)!
