Une fois que nous aurons fait le plein de sons, de vues et d'odeurs des rues de Ho Chi Minh, nous explorerons le temple Thien Hau d'influence chinoise. Les temples de Ho Chi Minh offrent un aperçu essentiel des croyances et coutumes des Vietnamiens, et ce magnifique temple ne fait pas exception ! Ce site du patrimoine architectural national, en plus d'abriter de belles œuvres d'art et des antiquités, donne un aperçu important des religions folkloriques vietnamiennes pour les habitants et les touristes.
Ensuite, préparez-vous à l'impact émotionnel du War Remnants Museum. Cette exposition à couper le souffle ne ressemble à aucun autre musée de la guerre. Offrant un aperçu rare de l'impact civil de la guerre américano-vietnamienne, les écrans multicouches sont percutants mais incontournables. La galerie Requiem est le joyau de ce musée, où vous pouvez voir des photos historiques prises par de célèbres photographes de guerre internationaux tels que Tim Page ou Larry Burrows. Cette exposition poignante ne manquera pas de vous accompagner longtemps après votre départ du musée.
Visitez l'un des sites les plus importants de Ho Chi Minh Notre prochain arrêt est le Palais de l'Indépendance. Ce point de repère important à Ho Chi Minh-Ville agit comme une capsule temporelle fascinante. Site de la fin de la guerre du Vietnam, le palais de l'Indépendance abrite des salles secrètes, un bunker de guerre et même les chars d'origine qui ont servi à s'emparer du palais ! Après le Palais de l'Indépendance, nous irons pour un délicieux déjeuner vietnamien. Une étape essentielle de cette visite est de préparer et bien sûr de déguster le célèbre café vietnamien dégoulinant. Cette boisson sucrée est un essentiel quotidien pour de nombreux habitants et un excellent aperçu de la surprenante culture du café au Vietnam.
Imprégnez-vous de la ligne d'horizon de HCMC Profitez d'une visite à pied à travers tous les sites les plus importants de Ho Chi Minh! La cathédrale Notre-Dame et la poste centrale sont de superbes prouesses architecturales au centre de la ville. L'église néo-romane Notre-Dame, construite par les Français, est un point de rencontre catholique saisissant dans une société majoritairement bouddhiste tandis que la poste centrale classique, construite entre 1886 et 1891, est un vestige frappant des temps passés. Les salles sont bordées de cartes historiques du Sud-Vietnam, de Saigon et de Cholon. Ces deux beaux bâtiments sont populaires auprès des touristes car ils offrent un aperçu saisissant des influences culturelles et historiques en jeu au Vietnam. Depuis le bureau de poste, notre guide vous montrera le siège historique de la CIA et vous racontera l'histoire du dernier hélicoptère américain au départ de Saigon en 1975, ainsi que la dernière opération américaine au Vietnam - Frequent Wind. Nous flânerons tranquillement le long de la rue Dong Khoi pour visiter le très bel opéra et l'hôtel de ville.

Harry and Mr Minh gave us the best day we could have asked for. The tour was absolutely brilliant very personal, in-depth, and thoughtfully done. We’ve taken many tours around the world, and this was easily the best by far. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!!!
We where a group of 6 friends in our late 50s On arrival with celebrity cruises our excellent English speaking guide Harry Potter was waiting for us and the trip for a whole day was perfectly planned We had a private air conditioned van and all was taken care for us The day included cultural and informative activities An experience not to be missed
We were only in town for 1 day since we were on a cruise. This was an excellent way to see the highlights of Hi Chi Minh City. We were picked up right at the ship, were in a nice car with bottled water and had a professional driver and tour guide who spoke very good English. We actually did a river cruise, too, which was wonderful! I would highly recommend this trip and this tour company, Maika Tours, to any visitor.
Our tour guide was Harry with Mr. Trung. The entire experience of the tour was light hearted and comfortable. Harry has an incredible fun presence referencing to the Harry Potter character which is fitting. I had to ask where his owl was. He spoke in perfectly clear English delivered with well informed historical information often having enlarged photos of his presentation. He answered all the questions which showed he was strongly informed The tour sites were of all various war museum with helicopters, horrific agent orange, religious sites, the tour vehicle was extremely clean and comfortable, almost new with buckets seats and important air conditioning. Lunch was given in a local cuisine restaurant where the food was excellent and very filling. I am in a wheelchair which presented zero problems. Both Mr Trung and Harry were very supportive and caring of my safety and being sure I too had an immersion in the culture and history like everyone else. It's very much appreciated, they cared. I would use this tour company without hesitation knowing the value and interest in your receiving the best experience possible which they certainly provide. They made us love the city and culture with their complete coverage of culture. Thank you Harry and Mr. Trung for all you did for us.

We undertook a private tour of Ho Chi Minh City for the morning with our wonderful knowledgeable tour guide Nam visiting the War Museum, the Post Office, Opera House & outside the Cathedral that is under restoration. A truly excellent tour. The next morning Nam picked us up bright & early for a all day tour to Nui Dat & the Long Tan Memorial. Nam took us to many places and was very knowledgeable of the history of the area. Highly recommend Nam for your tours.
