"La cathédrale d'Echmiadzin (traduction littérale : La Descente de l'Unique Engendre) est le centre de l'église apostolique arménienne construite à l'origine au début du IIIe siècle avant J.-C. et un certain nombre de sources affirment également qu'Etchmiadzin est la plus ancienne église chrétienne officielle du monde entier. C'est votre chance de visiter et d'explorer un endroit unique et unique au monde! L'église Saint-Hripsime est dédiée à l'une des 40 vierges échappées de l'empire romain. L'église Sainte Gayane est une basilique à dôme à trois nefs nommée encore d'après une autre des vierges qui s'est échappée de Rome et où plus tard a fait un saint de l'Église apostolique arménienne. Les ruines de Zvartnots Tample représentent un chef-d'œuvre architectural à dôme circulaire de 3 étages vraiment unique. Le monastère Geghard ou Ayrivank est un site architectural, historique et religieux important en Arménie.

Vous visiterez l'église St. Hripsime, qui a été construite sur le sépulcre d'une religieuse chrétienne Hripsime qui a fui l'Empire romain et a été tuée en Arménie. Ce bâtiment étonnant se tient debout depuis le jour de sa construction depuis 618 après JC, ce qui en fait l'une des plus anciennes églises debout du monde.
La cathédrale mère de Sainte Etchmiadzine sert de centre spirituel à l'Église apostolique arménienne. La cathédrale est un symbole de l'identité et du patrimoine national arménien, reflétant la tradition chrétienne profondément enracinée du pays.
Le prochain arrêt est à 5 minutes en voiture: l'église St. Gayane du 7ème siècle. Gayane était la nounou de Hripsime et a partagé le destin tragique de ce dernier.
Nous ferons un arrêt dans un autre magnifique temple du VIIe siècle, également inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine de l'UNESCO. Selon la légende, le nom "Zvartnots" signifie « anges célestes », inspiré par la croyance que les anges veillaient autrefois sur le temple.
Le complexe monastique de Geghard, classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, est un autre site historique inclus dans cette visite privée. Le nom "Geghard" dérive de la lance (geghard) qui aurait transpercé le côté de Jésus-Christ, qui a été hébergé dans le monastère pendant de nombreuses années. Le monastère Geghard est considéré comme l'un des sites religieux les plus importants d'Arménie. Le plus étonnant est que cette église est découpée dans la roche solide.
Les gorges de Garni sont une superbe attraction naturelle située en Arménie, près du village de Garni. Elle est également connue sous le nom de "Symphonie des pierres" en raison de ses formations rocheuses uniques qui créent une belle symphonie de couleurs et de formes. * La visite de la Symphonie des Pierres est soumise aux conditions météorologiques.
Cette visite vous présentera l'histoire païenne exotique de l'Arménie et montrera le développement et la propagation ultérieurs du christianisme dans le pays. Le temple Garni (77 après JC) est le seul temple païen debout de toute la région post-soviétique. Le temple se dresse sur un haut plateau surplombant les gorges de la rivière Azat. Il abrite également le bain romain avec la mystérieuse mosaïque, composée de 30000 pièces de pierres naturelles, ainsi que les ruines du palais royal, datant du IIIe siècle après JC.
Charents Arch, surplombant la vallée de l'Ararat, offre aux visiteurs une vue imprenable sur le mont Ararat et le paysage environnant, créant un décor parfait pour des photos mémorables.

Perfect booking process. Contacting them was easy through the portal or WhatsApp. All questions regarding the tour were answered more or less immediately. Our driver Rafael was punctual to the minute in front of our hotel and safely chauffeured us through the day with his relaxed and considerate driving style. The car was very well-maintained, air-conditioned, and we had ample time for sightseeing at the stops. Thank you very much!

This time, I asked for a driver, not a guide. The driver, Mr. Armand, was very kind and taught me a lot about Armenia. We didn't have a common language, so we communicated through apps, but we had no problem communicating. Excellent tour. The guide was highly knowledgeable and gave us an in depth overview of the history behind the sights. It was also a plus that there was a separate driver besides the guide.

Srbuhi (Sana), my guide, was very professional, polite and well informed. My driver, Suren, was also professional and drove safely through areas that had snow in the ground. He was cautious which was welcomed. The pace of the tour was just right to allow full enjoyment of the sites we visited. I am deducting one star since I was a bit disappointed at the head office that wouldn't arrange for the return of my hat that was left in the car. I didn’t think it would be such a big deal to have someone drop it off at my hotel on their way to another tour. Perhaps, as a regular traveler, I was expecting for a bit more post-tour customer service. I bought a new hat😃
