Le temple Muthumariamman ou Arulmigu Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil est un temple hindou situé à Matale au Sri Lanka. Le préfixe “Muthu”, signifie littéralement “perle”. "Mari" signifie pluie et "Amman" signifie mère en langue tamoule. Le temple est dédié à Mariamman, la déesse de la pluie et de la fertilité.
Le *Matale Aluvihara Rock Cave Temple* est un temple bouddhiste d'importance historique et religieuse situé à *Matale*, dans la province centrale du *Sri Lanka*. Il est réputé comme le site sacré où les *Tripitaka*, les enseignements du Bouddha, ont été écrits pour la première fois en *Pali* sur des feuilles de *ola (palmier)* au Ier siècle av.
*Ranweli Spice Garden* est une attraction bien connue située à Kawudupelella, Matale, Sri Lanka. Situé le long de la route principale entre Kandy et Dambulla, il offre aux visiteurs une occasion d'en apprendre davantage sur le riche patrimoine épicé du Sri Lanka.

Pidurangala Rock est une formation rocheuse importante située au *centre du Sri Lanka*, près de la ville historique de *Sigiriya*. Il est surtout connu pour offrir une vue panoramique imprenable sur la forteresse de Sigiriya Rock, en particulier au lever et au coucher du soleil, et est devenu une destination populaire pour les voyageurs locaux et internationaux.

Mangala is an amazing guide! Firstly, could totally frust him with my belongings in the tuk tuk. Also, he showed everything as mentioned in the itinerary and suggested really good lunch place! Highly recommended!!
Very amazing person and has experience and knowledge about the places. Helped us in free entry to one of the temples also. He is always smiling and making others also smile. Easy to go person who even clicks good pictures.
It was good because they took me everywhere I wanted to go. I didn't go with them at each tourist spot, I went around on my own, but that was more like going home. The cost was reasonable. The following places were visited: Spice Garden with sales, Wood Carving tour with sales, Safari (additional Rs. 30000, encounter elephant herd), Lunch, Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Temple. I also recommended the Village Tour (additional Rs. 6000) and Massage/Ayurveda (from 12,000), but I refused because the process was strict. The car was a light car and flew quite a bit, but in the process above, I left Kandy at 7:30 in the morning and returned to Kandy at 19:00 at night. It was a fulfilling day because we were able to go around efficiently.
The program is well thought out and allows you to discover several essentials in one day. We particularly enjoyed the variety of activities on offer, including the safari, the ascent of Lion Rock and the visit to the temple on the way. This allows you to have a nice overview of the region while remaining well organized. The only downside is stopping at a wooden souvenir shop and visiting the spice garden, which we believe can be avoided in order to save time and enjoy more of the main sights. Overall, it remains a very convenient and pleasant excursion to discover Sigiriya and its surroundings from Kandy in one day.
I enjoyed this full day adventure with Mangala my fantastic driver. There were lots of different stops throughout the day that shared many different angles of Sri Lankan culture. I loved the variety and learnt many new things, whether that was through art, nature, history and so much more. We didn’t feel rushed at any time and had the opportunity to ask questions, do a bit of shopping and take in the sights! Water, sturdy shoes and a good hat made the ascent up the temple and mountain steps more comfortable (but totally doable in sneakers - pack sandals and switch afterwards).
I had amazing tour with Mangala. Mangala is very professional tour guide. From the beginning of the tour he showed how professional he is. He arrived before my pick up time. During our tour he explained to me area around. Mangala is very positive and friendly person. You can feel safe with during the drive, good driver. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed this experience. Mangala was a great driver and adapted the trip to my needs. I left at 8:45 and got home at 6 pm after having visited so many great sites, eating in a fantastic restaurant at a great price and visiting so many things he is very funny always smiling. What a great day I recommend.
We had a wonderful time on our trip to Sigiriya with our guide Mangala who was also a great cameraman 😄. We were at Pidurangala rock, temples in Matale and Dambula. Everything was smooth and he was driving safely.
Mangala was an absolute top guide! Likeable, cheerful and kind person. He explained a lot to us and stopped at great spots along the way and took pictures. He bought us coconuts and after the hike on Pidurangala led us to a restaurant he knew. Was very delicious there! Our wishes on the ride were always taken into account. A great day with a great guide. We highly recommend him!
