Visite privée de dégustation de vins et mets du Beaujolais et Pérouges au départ de Lyon

Description
Nice but poor communication from company. More of a culture and history tour rather than food and wine tour as the title suggests. Only went to one winery, beautiful but wish there was more than one winery stop and tasting.
Francois was fantastic, knowledgeable and informative on local area and wider French life. Mother/daughter trip with stress free pick up and drop off. Whole day was convivial and relaxed. Highly recommend to experience car only attractions and surrounding countryside.
We had a wonderful time on this tour . It was well planned out and our tour guide Francisco was very knowledgeable. He gave us options through out day to make the tour our own. I would highly recommend this tour.
An excellent tour with a great guide. We were shown the beautiful Beaujolais countryside, a Chateau and winery tour and visited the preserved medieval Pérouges town
it was a pity that one of the wine tastings could not take place, but the tour was great. We learned a lot from our knowledgeable tour guide. We visited places that we would never have seen. the medieval village of Perouge was incredible and the winery of Marquis de Montemelas was stunning.
It was a full, fun and well organised day with deeply informative guide Francois. As a solo traveller the day was designed to suit my preferences for sights and experiences.
Francoise was both a terrific guide and companion for the day. His friendly welcome, comfortable Mercedes van, plan for the day, and conversational style were highlights even before we got started. The scenic location of our first Beaujolais tasting was stunning and the beginnings of his lecture on the region and the terroir very informative. Throughout the day he would “check in” on our knowledge, interest in learning more, or change the subject. The winery visit and lunch were wonderful and the visit to Perouges was like stepping into the Middle Ages. I would highly recommend Tasty Lyon as a company and Francoise as a guide.
First...why this was a 5-star tour...This tour, run by Tasty Lyon, was wonderful! Our guide, Yann, was personable, very informative and lots of fun! He was the perfect mix of being with us to show us everything and stepping aside to let us explore on our own. And he took us to great stops. Along with our stops at Oingt, a lovely winery, and Perouges, we had lunch at a wonderful little restaurant, La Feuillee, where we all chatted like gold friends! It was a great day and we returned feeling full, happy, and loving the region just a little bit more! Now...about Viator...we did have an issue, where Viator booked our tour for one date, but booked it for the Tasty Lyon guides for the next date. When our guide didn't arrive on the date we had on our confirmation, we contacted Tasty Lyon, and they noted the disparity, but were more than accommodating in changing our tour date to one that worked best for all of us. Word of advice...confirm with the Tour Operator, not Viator before your planned excursion, particularly if you have a very booked vacation calendar.
We had the most delightful tour with Olivier, who is the company owner! He is personable, knowledgeable and local. He took us to Perouges, an amazing well preserved medieval town. It was wonderful to walk along the cobbled streets as Olivier explained the history. We also visited the Beaujolais wine region which is spectacular! We had a delicious charcuterie board and wine tastings from the owner himself, at Domaine de Fond. The owner took us out to the vineyards and gave us a demonstration of pruning the vines. We were impressed by the number of generations this family has been producing wine. Needless to say, we purchased multiple bottles. We ended the tour with a walk through the historical and lovely town, Oingt. This tour was a highlight of our visit to Lyon and we are very thankful for Olivier for introducing to this very beautiful region of France!!

Wladimir is frenchman from Beaujolais! So we were spoil by a local. He was very knowledgeable about wines, polite, personable and very accommodating. We would highly recommend him and this day tour. We truly enjoyed our day. We were very impress by the wines of Beaujolaisprices as well, very reasonable. Perouge village is so beautiful.
