Itinéraire de visite 1️⃣ Château de Lekuresi Notre première destination est le château de Lekuresi, une forteresse frappante datant du XVIe siècle. Construit en forme de carré avec deux tours rondes positionnées en diagonale, le château offre une vue panoramique sur Saranda, la mer Ionienne et l'île grecque voisine de Corfou. 2️⃣ L’Œil bleu (Syri i Kaltër) Ensuite, nous visiterons la source des yeux bleus, l’une des merveilles naturelles les plus captivantes d’Albanie. L’eau cristalline bouillonne des profondeurs de la terre, créant un « œil » bleu profond envoûtant entouré d’une verdure luxuriante. 3️⃣ Parc national de Butrint Notre dernière étape est le parc national de Butrint, un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO qui présente des couches d'histoire des civilisations anciennes. Ici, vous explorerez : Théâtre romain Le Temple d'Asclépios L'aqueduc L'église byzantine Flâner dans le parc donne l’impression de voyager dans le temps – de la période hellénistique aux époques romaine et byzantine – le tout au milieu d’un paysage naturel tranquille.

Le château est situé sur une colline stratégique surplombant la ville de Saranda, au sud-est du centre-ville. De là, on peut contrôler toute la ville ainsi que les îles de Ksamil.
Buthrotum était une ville grecque et plus tard romaine et un évêché en Épire. Habitée depuis la préhistoire, Buthrotum était une ville de la tribu grecque des Chaonians, devenue plus tard une colonie romaine et un évêché. Habité depuis la préhistoire, Butrint a été le site d’une colonie grecque, d’une ville romaine et d’un évêché. Après une période de prospérité sous l'administration byzantine, puis une brève occupation par les Vénitiens, la ville fut abandonnée à la fin du Moyen Âge après la formation de marais dans la région. Le site archéologique actuel est un dépôt de ruines représentant chaque période du développement de la ville.
La beauté d'une dense forêt verte mélangée aux eaux cristallines des sources. Aussi très intéressant la présence d'un insecte rare appelé "La libellule bleue" Le Blue Eye (Albanais: Syri i kaltër) est une source d’eau, un phénomène naturel qui se produit à Sarande, en Albanie. Une attraction touristique populaire, l’eau limpide de la rivière jaillit d’une superbe piscine de plus de cinquante mètres de profondeur. Les plongeurs sont descendus à cinquante mètres, mais on ignore encore quelle est la profondeur réelle du trou karstique.

We were on a Seabourn cruise and the on board shore excursions only include 2 of the 3 major things to see during our stop. Instead of settling for 2 we searched out for a private tour that would take us to all 3 locations. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Easy to communicate with once we arrived in port, prompt pickup and a fantastic tour. Een include front row parking at the sites. Upon return our tour guide recommended a wonderful restaurant on the beach and then we had a short walk back to the ship. Awesome experience.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Saranda — families, couples, and friends. A wonderful experience you shouldn’t miss!

It was a bit chaotic when we got there but our driver knew how to get us to the front. The water colour is just breathtaking . There are a few short walks along the banks of the water too, which are so peaceful, even with the people there. The water is very cold!
We took a trip to Albania from Corfu and booked this excursion and Butrint on our ferry on the way over,The colours and clarity of the water is amazing. We were told it was safe to drink the water so we tried it. It was cool refreshing and tasted good. It is a place which deserve to be visited, for sure

If you are in Saranda try this amazing experience... Blue Eye 👁 was a magical place ( cold , blurred water) Butrint National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Albanian’s most important archeological sites. Lekursi Castle offers you a panoramic view from above the city
We booked a tour from Msc Cruise and Im very happy to say that everything was perfect they were very fast we don’t have to wait at the port, they use an air conditioned car, comfortable also the tour guide speaks 3 different languages Thankyou Mario see you next year 👌
