La visite commence sur le plateau de Vracar, où vous verrez l'un des sites les plus importants de Belgrade: le temple Saint Sava, la deuxième plus grande église orthodoxe de toute l'Europe avec sa superbe crypte et son dôme principal rempli de mosaïques. Notre guide vous racontera l'histoire de la première famille royale serbe et du premier archevêque serbe nommé Rastko Nemanjic. Sur le même plateau, vous verrez également la statue de Nikola Tesla, l'un des plus grands scientifiques de tous les temps, et le bâtiment de la Bibliothèque nationale, construit pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
La visite se poursuit vers la place Slavija, qui porte le nom de l’un des plus anciens hôtels de Belgrade, construit en 1888. C’est l’une des plus grandes places de Belgrade, où sept rues se croisent. Ici, notre guide vous racontera une histoire captivante sur Belgrade Phantom. Après la place Slavija, nous nous dirigeons vers la rue King Milan et une place plus petite mais charmante appelée Flower Square avec deux bâtiments culturels importants pour les Serbes. Le premier est le Théâtre dramatique yougoslave reconstruit en 2003 et le second est le Centre culturel des étudiants, où le premier spectacle de rock and roll a eu lieu à Belgrade.
La rue Resavska nous mènera à l'église Saint-Marc, située dans le deuxième parc en importance de Belgrade, le parc Tasmajdan. Nous nous dirigerons vers d’importants bâtiments gouvernementaux, tels que le Parlement national serbe, l’ancien et le nouveau palais.
Sur notre chemin vers la place principale de la République, nous passerons par deux autres places plus petites, les places Nikola Pasic et Terazije, avec le plus bel hôtel de Belgrade, l'hôtel «Moscou».
Sur la place de la République, considérée comme le principal point de rencontre de la ville, vous verrez le théâtre national, le musée national et le monument dédié à l'un des plus grands souverains serbes, le prince Mihail Obrenovic.
Ensuite, nous nous promenons dans la rue Knez Mihailova, principale zone de marche et de shopping. Cette rue animée et animée nous mènera à la forteresse de Kalemegdan / Belgrade.
Le dernier arrêt sera la forteresse de Kalemegdan, l'attraction dominante de Belgrade. Il est considéré comme le musée à ciel ouvert construit entre le 1er et le 18ème siècle et assiégé plus de 100 fois. AMAZING INTRODUCTION TO BELGRADE My wife and I booked this private walking tour of Belgrade at the last minute due to a dropped ball by another tour operator. This turned out to be the best possible outcome and set an excellent tone at the start of our 5 days in Belgrade. Our Tour Guide was Nina, who is an exceptional guide with a happy personality and a deep knowledge of Belgrade, of Serbia and of the history of the Balkans. She tailored the pacing of the tour to allow us more time in St Sava Church and to explore to city and the fort. It was a memorable experience that led to us booking several more tours with Serbia Inspired Tours. Our visit to Belgrade would not have been so successful if we had not met Nina and her sister Jelena, (who is also a tour guide). My wife and I have traveled widely and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had exploring a city and country for the first time.

Nina was really amazing... and Jelena from the office as well. Belgrade was not included in the regular agency tours we were offered, we decided to drive from Sarayevo and scheduled Zagreb as our last stop. The drive was DEFINITELY worth it. Belgrade is beautiful. The churches are astonishing, the fort a historic showcase, and Skalardija was enchanting.
