Jay our guide gave us a very personal tour he had a photo album he shared at the various locations. He was very well acquainted with the Beatles story and history probably due to his age like us he was an older gentleman.
Great afternoon with Paul. Helpful and knowledgable stories about Beatles lives and places.
Julie was great. We had a warm, friendly and very well informed tour. Julie made sure we were comfortable at all times. Played songs along the way that we discussed, it was a fabulous day out. It was a present for my dad’s 80th birthday as he’s a huge Beatles fan and the tour made his birthday v special.
We chose a three-hour Beatles tour by taxi. On time, John, our tour guide, showed up at the Hard Days Night Hotel. He was friendly and nice the entire tour. With a lot of patience and motivation he told us about the Fab-Four. In the car, the music of the Beatles always played. His remarks in English were easy to understand and he also waited when I had to translate one or the other to my companions. All around it was a successful event and a good basis for viewing the Beatles Museum on Mathew Street the next day. Thank you for the work of John.
Definitely highly recommend this for any Beatles fans. The private tour was very informative and definitely interesting! Places visited mirrored the young lives of the Fab 4 including childhood homes, schools, and inspirations for many of their songs. Penny Lane, Strawberry Field and Sgt Pepper era all visited along with the cemetery where Eleanor Rigby is buried.
Most amazing 3 hrs, Peter was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. His enthusiasm for the Beatles story was infectious and his love of Liverpool very evident. I would highly recommend this tour for any visitor to the city who is also a fan of the Beatles music young or old.
Our guide was fantastic! I wasn’t even a fan of the Beatles (my husband is), but I am now! Highly recommend! Very thorough and knowledgeable.
We had a wonderful on our Beatles tour with Owen! He was very informed and an enjoyable guide! We would highly recommend this tour to any Beatle fan!
Our guide was wonderful. He clearly knew a LOT about not only the Beatles but the other bands and performers associated with them. He also had done a lot of research and showed us photos and told stories that really enriched our tour. It was a fab experience!
The tour was the best I’ve ever taken. Del, our narrator was interesting and knew the Beatles history inside and out. Dennis, our bus driver made sure we saw everything promised and gave us plenty of time to step off the bus for photo taking. All our questions were answered although we were given so much interesting information, we didn’t have many questions. The bus narrator gave recommendations of places of interest throughout the tour, so as a great end to a fun day in Liverpool my adult daughters and I were dropped off close to the recommended Cavern Club. The entertainment there was excellent and EVERYONE participated in the music by singing along, dancing in place and staying for set after set. People did come and go, but the crowd always welcomed the newcomers and made space for them. A lot of places for people to sit and listen or stand, have a drink and take tons of photos. The attached Beatles centered store has lots of things for sale as a remembrance of the groups you enjoyed in your youth. The bar is readily accessible and the drinks were very good. Nothing negative to report from the bus tour to the end of the day, so go for it!
