Spécial juillet et août — saison des abricots! La vallée devient dorée au fur et à mesure de la récolte de la célèbre Wachauer Marille : à côté de nos dégustations de vins, vous dégusterez la saison elle-même — Marillenknödel au déjeuner et une gorgée d'eau-de-vie d'abricot d'une ferme familiale. Vivez la Wachau non pas comme un visiteur, mais comme un ami. Ce voyage au cœur de l'Autriche relie la grandeur impériale à la beauté tranquille des vignobles : touchez les pierres anciennes de Klosterneuburg, déambulez dans les rues romantiques de Dürnstein et placez-vous devant l'abbaye dorée de Melk. La véritable âme de la visite réside dans les moments calmes. Au lieu de grandes salles commerciales, nous vous emmenons dans une petite cave familiale où le vin est un métier transmis de génération en génération — vous goûterez l'amour dans chaque bouteille. Et vous êtes entre de bonnes mains : une équipe personnelle de chauffeur professionnel et Guide dédié, et un itinéraire qui équilibre les principaux sites touristiques avec les coins cachés, pour ne jamais se sentir pressé.

Nous commençons notre voyage à la majestueuse abbaye de Klosterneuburg, un lieu d'une profonde signification spirituelle et historique. Le Trésor : Nous visitons le Trésor Impérial pour voir le "chapeau Archducal." Ce n’est pas seulement une couronne, c’est un symbole de l’identité de la région. L'atmosphère : En parcourant ces salles vieilles de 900 ans, vous sentirez le lien entre les Habsbourg au pouvoir et les moines qui gardent ce lieu (et son vin !) depuis des siècles.
Entre l'abbaye et les vignobles, nous profitons d'une promenade relaxante à travers la campagne de Basse-Autriche. C'est le moment idéal pour s'asseoir et laisser défiler le paysage. Pendant que votre chauffeur privé navigue, votre Guide partagera des histoires fascinantes sur l'histoire du Danube ou vous fera simplement profiter du calme avant notre prochaine aventure.
En arrivant à Dürnstein, la « Perle de la Wachau », vous comprendrez pourquoi les poètes et les peintres aiment cet endroit. La Promenade : Nous flânons dans les rues pavées, remplies du parfum de l'abricot et du charme des vieilles maisons. La Légende : En levant les yeux vers les ruines, votre Guide partagera l'histoire romantique et dramatique de Richard Cœur de Lion. C’est un endroit parfait pour des photos mémorables. Pause déjeuner : Ce charmant village est aussi l'endroit idéal pour faire une pause. Nous pouvons vous recommander une taverne traditionnelle confortable ou un restaurant avec vue sur la rivière, où vous pourrez déguster de délicieux plats locaux dans une atmosphère détendue. (Coût du déjeuner non inclus).
C'est souvent la partie préférée de la journée. Nous visitons une cave familiale locale nichée au milieu des vignes. L'expérience : Il n'y a pas de précipitation ici. Nous nous asseyons pour déguster le Grüner Veltliner croustillant et l'élégant Riesling. Vous rencontrerez les gens qui font le vin, écouterez leurs histoires et profiterez de l'hospitalité autrichienne authentique ("Gemütlichkeit") que vous ne trouverez pas dans les grandes salles de production.
La grande finale est Stift Melk. Se tenir sur sa terrasse surplombant la vallée est une expérience inoubliable. À Melk, nous explorons les cours de l'abbaye et visitons la magnifique église abbatiale — toutes deux libres d'accès — tandis que votre Guide donne vie à l'histoire de l'abbaye qui dure depuis 900 ans. Les billets pour les cabines intérieures et la bibliothèque ne sont pas inclus, mais peuvent être organisés sur demande. Nous admirons la superbe architecture baroque et visitons l'église, qui brille d'or et de lumière. Plutôt que de nous précipiter dans les musées, nous prenons le temps d'absorber la grandeur des cours et les vues panoramiques, réfléchissant à la beauté de la journée.
Pendant que nous rentrons en voiture, vous pouvez fermer les yeux et vous détendre, transportant avec vous le goût du vin et les souvenirs d'une belle journée. Le soir, retour à Vienne (env. 1 h) — repos et vue; retour à l'hôtel.

This was an absolutely wonderful day. I have wanted to visit the Wachau Valley for several years and just couldn't come up with the best way to do so. Our guide Jenny was very pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much about the places that we visited, the history of the area and the wines we tasted. She recommended a charming family owned restaurant in Durnstein where the food was hot and delicious on a day with a little rain. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

We were staying in Vienna but badly wanted to visit the Wachau Valley/Danube River, and Melk Abbey. This tour allowed us to do all of this and more! We even stopped at a local winery and ate lunch with the owner and visited his cellar. Jenny was both knowledgeable and personable and presented the information in an enjoyable manner. The day was organized and flexible enough to ensure our comfort snd enjoyment. My husband who tends to not enjoy tours, said it was the highlight of his trip! Top notch private tour of the Danube wine country with great stops at castles and vineyards. Convenient pick up and return to hotel. Great way to get out of Vienna and see the countryside. Knowledgeable tour guide and her husband (our driver) - highly recommend

We had a wonderful time getting out of Vienna and see the area along the Danube. We spent the day with Cozy in a private tour - driver, guide, and us. PIckup and dropoff at our hotel was perfect. The drive was comfortable as well as informative. We received a lesson on the history of the area accompanied by maps and pictures. We drove out the Melk. An amazing monastary/castle. Our guide supplemented the Kelb tour guide with extra details and background. Then drove on to Durnstein. We walked the streets accompanied by our guide again getting a great review of the history of the town. Next was lunch and wine tasting - including a tour of the wine cellar. Loved the food and the variety of wines. Finally we stopped at a castle/cathedral just outside Vienna. it was dark by then and we had the whole area to ourselves. It was a eerie mysterious way to end the day - bringing the history of the area to life. I would recommend using Cozy and look into other tours they conduct. Thanks!

Our tour guide, Jenny, and our driver...I wish I could remember his name...were awesome! We were picked up at our hotel on time and immediately taken to the car. For some reason, i thought this was a small group tour...meaning around 8 people. I didn't realize it was a small group of my husband and me. This made the tour all the more special. Jenny took us to three castles / monasteries and provided many interesting details about each of the locations. They were not as "castle-y" as I was hoping, but that did not take away from the impressiveness of each location. After the second stop, we went for lunch and wine tasting in a small village. Jenny knew the owner of the restaurant / winery and our meal was incredible! The wines were even better. We tasted several varieties and even went into the lower cavern to see where all the wines, schnapps, and brandies are made. Needless to say, we bought several bottles of wine. This was certainly one of the best wine tasting tours I have ever experienced.
