L'histoire de Londres d'un point de vue lesbien, gay, bisexuel, trans et queer du XVIIIe siècle à nos jours. Y compris : un groupe d'artistes épris de liberté, les pionnières lesbiennes de la médecine féminine, le philosophe qui a le premier défendu l'amour entre personnes du même sexe, un espace « queer » du XVIIIe siècle, des victoriens travestis, les premières chirurgies d'affirmation du genre, un roman lesbien historique , la librairie LGBTQ la plus appréciée de Londres... et nous apprendrons un peu de Polari - la langue gay secrète de Londres !

A very enjoyable activity! Ric offered a fantastic tour and struck the perfect balance between walking and stopping to discuss various historic landmarks across Bloomsbury. Informative and humorous, thank you Ric!
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much and he really kept us engaged the whole tour. I would highly recommend this tour.
We organised a tour for approximately 25 people through our firm's internal LGBTQ+ and Wellness networks. Ric was incredibly easy to book with, offering flexibility and understanding our needs as a business to work within certain timings etc. Ric was polite, friendly, instilled confidence and made sure no one was left behind. We all learned something new about a truly fascinating area. Ric dealt with a good span of history with sensitivity and good humour. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

To mark LGBT+ History Month our Pride Network at work took a team of 12 of us on this tour. Despite the intense rain, Ric did a fantastic job keeping spirits up and informing us of the prolific works of the Bloomsbury Group in the area. We learned of the expansive LGBT+ History and would recommend the tour to anyone! A fantastic, friendly & knowledgeable guide.

Ric was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, well organized and took care of everyone in the group. It was a fun two hours of strolling through Bloomsbury learning about some of the amazing queer places and people who have lived here. I'd definitely recommend Ric and his tour.
A trip around Bloomsbury with a Queer focus? What's not to love! The tour took us through times of strife for queer people and times of triumph. There are some Grand-Dames of queer history en route: Gays the Word; Kenneth Williams; Fanny and Stella and the complicated lives of the Bloomsbury Set (how they ever got any writing done I don't know) are all included and the guide is friendly and fun. This was a great tour and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the Queer lives Londoners once lived.
Had a great time on this tour - learned a great deal about the LGBT folks who lived in and passed through Bloomsbury. Ric is a charismatic guide who has a knack for making the tour equal parts educational and entertaining.
This is a great tour on the often overlooked lives and history of LGBT+ people in Bloomsbury. The tour lasted just under two hours and even a cold and windy day didn't affect the experience. Ric is a fantastic tour guide and is the perfect mix of informative, funny, engaging and personable. Really looking forward to booking on another of Ric's tours in future and couldn't recommend the tour enough!!
