This is the second time I've visited a temple in the jungle. Beautiful... I imagined how people brought all this material into the middle of the jungle. The temple is so amazing, a work of art! Jaine religion is a beautiful religion, against violence, protecting animals and a little more correct with women

TERRIBLE roads via car travel (which is the only way to get there). About 50 km of the road from Udaipur to Kumbalgarh is completely dug up dirt and there is absolutely no paved road. The journey is exhausting and not the safest as the sand created a dust storm during a part of our trip. Cannot imagine travel once it starts raining. Why not keep a portion of the road paved?!! The road to Ranakpur isn't dug up but not the best. Wait to travel there if you can.
Dear Guest, Greetings from Hire Taxi India Thank you for sharing your experience. We truly regret the inconvenience you faced due to the road conditions and the sand storm during your journey from Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh. We would like to clarify that the roads in this region are maintained by the local authorities, and unfortunately, we have no control over their condition. Similarly, sand storms are a natural occurrence and cannot be predicted or avoided. These factors are beyond our hands, and the mentioned route is the only way to access Kumbhalgarh. That said, we always ensure to provide our guests with the best possible service in terms of vehicles, drivers, and overall arrangements. We are glad to note that there were no concerns regarding our services, and we appreciate your understanding that the difficulties were caused by circumstances outside our control. A must see destination when in Udaipur. The fort climbing is tiring but fulfilling. A awesome panaromic view is available at the top. Ranakpur Jain temple carvings and architecture are mind blowing

Our guide was very patient as we struggled with car sickness (long windy road up). Wall is impressive. The site is vast, so you view much from a distance and it is a bit steep at start. The drive onto the temple is long but guide made the whole day enjoyable. Overall the guide made the day.

This day trip was a highlight of my trip to India. Kumbalgarh fort and Ranakpur temple were beautiful places to visit and a great break from touring busy cities. Our guide Ganesh Chouhan made the trip very special by sharing his personal experiences of living in India who also had a great wealth of knowledge on the sites. Our lunch spot was excellent and we enjoyed making stops along the way to get chai in a village, see monkeys and the Hanuman temple, and meet families living in small villages. I highly recommend this trip!

The two sites themselves are amazing to see, particularly the Jain temple at Ranakpur. The drive, while winding and bumpy at times, was interesting as well. The transition from modern city to small plot farming was fascinating. You get a good chance to see the subsistence farming and village way of life.

The driver was particularly good. He had an ability to navigate the rough roads and traffic and also made sure that we were comfortable. We felt safe and cared for.

The guide was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. He as well made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. Both guide and driver were personable and went out of their way to look after our needs.

Lunch was provided and was tasty.

It was our first time booking through Viator so we were a little wary but were very happy with the experience.
