Vous aurez une visite privée de l'ancienne nécropole dans les montagnes thébaines sur la rive ouest de Louxor. Nous commençons par la spectaculaire vallée des rois où vous descendrez dans 3 tombeaux royaux. Vient ensuite une visite au temple funéraire taillé dans la roche de la reine Hatchepsout à Deir El Bahari, où l'on vous indique les plus belles peintures murales et où vous avez le temps de vous promener. Nous continuons pour un rapide arrêt photo aux colosses de Memnon, deux immenses statues gardant les fouilles en cours du palais d'Aménophis III. Après le déjeuner dans un bon restaurant local, nous retournons sur la rive est pour visiter le temple de Karnak pour vous montrer où des pharaons comme Toutankhamon, Hatchepsout et Ramsès II ont effectué leurs rituels sacrés. Le complexe du temple de Karnak contient des lacs sacrés, des salles hypostyles, des obélisques, des pylônes et des sanctuaires. Le temple de Louxor décore gracieusement les rives du Nil, dédié non pas à une divinité ou à un pharaon mais au rajeunissement de la royauté et au centre du festival d'Opet.

Vous visiterez l'ancienne nécropole de l'ancienne Thèbes sur la rive ouest de Louxor. Nous vous emmènerons dans la spectaculaire vallée des rois, où jusqu'à présent 63 tombes ont été découvertes, allant d'une crypte à une chambre (KV54) à une tombe de 120 chambres (KV5). Vous pourrez visiter 3 tombes avec le billet d'entrée. Les tombeaux de Toutankhamon et de Seti I nécessitent des billets séparés (non inclus).
Nous visitons le temple mortuaire rupestre creusé dans la roche d'Hatchepsout. Après la mort de son mari, Thutmose II, Hatchepsout prit le règne en tant que corégent-régent ou auto-proclamé Pharaon à la place de Thutmose III. Quoi qu’il en soit, elle était une guerrière habile et un dirigeant puissant rétablissant les routes commerciales avec des pays étrangers. Les preuves de ses succès et de ses réalisations sont écrites sur les murs de son temple commémoratif à Deir El-Bahari.
Nous nous arrêtons à la base des magnifiques colosses de Memnon, deux immenses statues gardant les fouilles en cours du palais d'Aménophis III. Les statues sont en réalité des images du pharaon Aménophis III. Memnon était un héros des guerres de Troie, considéré comme le fils d'Eos, déesse de l'aube. À la suite d'un tremblement de terre survenu en 27 av. J.-C., l'une des statues a été endommagée et, à cause des forces de la nature, était censée "siffler" ou "chanter" à l'aube.
Vous visiterez le temple de Karnak, le deuxième plus grand temple religieux au monde après Angkor Wat au Cambodge. La construction du premier complexe de temples a débuté il y a environ 3 500 ans et s'est arrêtée à l'époque ptolémaïque. Le temple de Karnak est une collection d'enceintes pour Amun Re, Mut et Monsu et contient des lacs sacrés, des halls hypostyle, des obélisques, des pylônes et des sanctuaires. À l'intérieur des murs se trouve un musée en plein air séparé nécessitant un ticket d'entrée supplémentaire, tout comme le quartier de Mut. Votre guide vous guidera à travers le temple, partageant les faits historiques et vous laissant le temps de flâner entre les anciens remparts.
Vous visiterez le temple de Louxor, dédié non pas à une divinité ou à un pharaon, mais au rajeunissement de la royauté et au centre du festival Opet. Dans les temps anciens, les temples de Karnak et de Louxor étaient reliés par l'allée du sphinx qui fait toujours l'objet de fouilles. De nombreux pharaons ont été couronnés ici, que ce soit dans la réalité ou sur le plan théorique (comme Alexandre le Grand, qui prétendait avoir été couronné à Thèbes, sans avoir jamais visité l'ancienne capitale). Vous pourrez contempler la signification religieuse du lieu, car la triade thébaine possède des sanctuaires, une chapelle romaine existe à l'intérieur des murs qui ont ensuite été transformés en église et au sommet du temple repose la mosquée Abou Haggag.

We were lucky enough to have Ahmed as our guide for 3 days based in Luxor. He has an excellent command of ancient Egyptian history, delivers information in a clear way with excellent English, patiently answered all of our many questions, and had a nice style and sense of humor. We had other Egyptologist guides during our time in Egypt but he was our favorite because of his passion for his country's ancient history and his affable style and interactions with us. We really enjoyed our visit with Smiley! He is an amazing expert and a real egyptilogue. We had all the explantions needed to understand the complex history of Egyptians in Louxor. We recomend you to book a visit with Smiley if you are curious and wants detailled explanations. If only all guides could be such experts! The experience was so amazing with the company and the capitan was so gentel and smiling. We took many photos of the Luxor’s city and we’re so happy the make the experience. The pickup was at 6:30 am and we have had a hot tea in the sailing boat before tranporting us in the ouest side of the Nil. An amazing tour! My tour Guide Ramez was so professional. He showed me everything and informed me about the history. He has answered all my questions. He was so nice and friendly.
