. It is a long day of travel but worth it. The ruins at Ephesus are beautiful and you can really get a perspective on this ancient city. More Christian linkage would be nice.

From the helpful pre-tour WhatsApp communication to the final stop, this was a flawlessly executed and incredible day. We were first greeted by our friendly driver in Izmir, Husain, who set a warm and welcoming tone. Our guide, Tijen, was fantastic—deeply knowledgeable and experienced, she patiently answered all my questions. The itinerary was awe-inspiring: a serene visit to Mary’s House, followed by the magnificent Ephesus ruins, which were thankfully not too busy. After a delicious lunch, we had the option to visit a rug, leather, or spice shop before the scenic drive to Pamukkale. A standout tip was using a buggy in Pamukkale to see the ruins, which let us cover more ground effortlessly. The water pools was also a standout. The day was long, but well-paced with car breaks, so we never felt overly tired. My one piece of advice: be sure to wear sturdy shoes!

Amazing personalized tour of the sites. It was well organized, and the Travel was well coordinated. Our Guide Ali was very friendly and accommodative. I would recommend it without reservation.!
We had an excellent tour, fitting a LOT of amazing sights into a single day that we definitely wouldn't have been able to arrange for ourselves. Great value for money, especially for any travellers with a really tight time schedule in Turkey!! The early morning airport transfer driver was on time, making our flight to Pamukkale smooth and hassle-free. Our guide, Furkan, and our driver for the day were waiting for us at arrivals in Denizli so there was zero stress, and the tour was off to a great start! First was Pamukkale and Heirapolis, then a refreshing swim in Cleopatra's Pool. After seeing all the sights in the area, we started the drive to Ephesus. The car was really comfortable, and our driver drove very safely, so we were able to totally relax, and even took a nap. On the way to Ephesus we stopped for delicious and very filling traditional Turkish lunch at a lovely ranch farm, and also enjoyed a visit to a rug centre, where we learned about Turkish rug-making - it was very informative and unlike other weaving centres (like Cappadocia), thankfully the staff here did not try the hard sell!! We took another break from driving to visit the Virgin Mary's house, and do a tour of a leather factory where we learned about traditional Turkish lambskin leather-goods, and then finally arrived at the Ephesus Ruins refreshed and ready to see this amazing site and learn all about it! Furkan was so knowledgeable about everything we saw, but especially he had so much interesting information to share about the Ephesus Ruins, which made the experience so fun and the time just flew by. At the end of the day, he also went out of his way to help us find a particular, uncommon souvenir we were looking for, before dropping us off at the airport right on time for our late flight back to Istanbul. The only thing of the day that did not go smoothly was the airport transfer driver to return us to our hotel was not waiting for us when we arrived back in Istanbul and was over 30 minutes late to pick us up, and then he also got lost. So we finally arrived back at our hotel 1.5 hours later than scheduled, which was a frustrating and tiring end to an otherwise excellent day. However, overall I can gladly recommend this tour and especially our wonderful guide Furkan to anyone wanting to see the best of these two historical areas in a single day and learn a ton about all the ancient sites! Great value for time and money!!! Thank you Furkan!!
Did a full day trip. Our trip was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and the itinerary was squeezed in one day but we manages to see alot of things. Recommended!

I had the time of my life...literally. My flight to Izmir was cancelled but was surprisingly booked an hour later. I was met by my new guide and friend, Tijen at the airport in Izmir. We hit it off right from the beginning. I found Tijen to be very professional and genuine and knowledgeable about Ephesus and Hierapolis. It was just me on the tour and I was made to feel spoiled right from minute one. As I am an ancient history nerd (especially Roman and 1st century period) and I found a kindred spirit in my guide as she spoke my "nerd" language. No, it wasn't an actual language, but it was her sheer enthusiasm & understanding about a topic that she obviously knew much about. I was "geeking out" and in awe as she brought to life the things I have only read about in books. I was finally there! Walking through the streets where the historical apostle Paul, Timothy, John, Priscilla and Aquilla walked...it was mind blowing. Mary's house is nestled way, way up in this enchanted forest up in the mountains; the scenery is breathtaking and I am so glad I included Mary's house on my tour. My guide, Tijen was all to eager to share the little interesting nuggets of information that I was all to eager to gobble up. We made our trek to Pamukkale as my guide shared history along the way. The car ride went so quick as we chatted about everything that made this region so special. I made a special request if it was possible to do a quick sideline to the ancient Laodicea ruins. To my surprise, it was granted and it was truly life changing for me. This one day trip was life-changing for me, an opportunity and experience that I will never ever forget. Do yourself a favor and book this tour right now! I am from Canada and was treated like royalty the entire trip. Hats off to this tour organization and especially to my new friend and tour guide Tijen. Wow! What a wonderful experience.
