Cette visite du patrimoine est une excursion qui vous ramène dans la riche époque médiévale architecturale du Népal. Chacun de ces sites que vous visiterez est différent en termes d’architecture, d’artisanat, de civilisation et de divers aspects et attributs culturels. Cette visite du patrimoine vous emmène à quatre sites emblématiques: la place Kathmandu Durbar, les temples Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath et Swayambhunath. Ces lieux incroyablement intéressants sont connus pour leur signification historique, culturelle et religieuse qui symbolise le Népal et son existence.

Itinéraire
Le temple Swayambhunath, connu dans le monde entier comme un temple des singes, est important pour les adeptes de la religion hindoue et bouddhiste. Il a une haute flèche conique en cuivre et plaqué or, avec les yeux du Seigneur Bouddha ornés sur les quatre côtés de la base de la flèche. De son apogée, on peut voir la vue à 360 ° de toute la vallée de Katmandou, une rencontre sensationnelle à couper le souffle.
Le temple de Pashupatinath est l'un des temples hindous les plus sacrés et dédiés au Seigneur Shiva, situé à Katmandou. Il se trouve sur les rives de la rivière Baghmati. La cour du temple contient divers autres petits temples dédiés à divers dieux et déesses hindous. Le stupa de Bouddhanath est l’un des plus grands stupas d’Asie du Sud influencé par le bouddhisme tibétain. C'est un dôme blanchi à la chaux peint avec les yeux de Bouddha qui voient tout. C’est une structure hautement symbolique qui rappelle aux gens le chemin de Bouddha vers l’illumination. Cette cour sainte contient cinquante autres monastères tibétains. On peut entrevoir l’art et l’architecture distinctes du Népal et du Tibet antiques, qui sont inspirants et mémorables.
La place Kathmandu Durbar est le cœur traditionnel de la ville et l’héritage architectural le plus spectaculaire de Katmandou. La place Kathmandu date des 17ème et 18ème siècles. La zone de la place Durbar est un confluent de trois places faiblement liées, la place Basantapur, la zone de la place Durbar et le point d’entrée du Hanuman Dhoka avec une grappe de temples proches.

A fun, interesting and flexible (private) day in Kathmandu. The city has loads to offer and our guide Umesh made it all accessible. My wife and I really appreciate the flexibility of private as we often wish to shorten, lengthen or otherwise change the itinerary. On this occasion, for example, we engaged our guide to help us find a tailor and negotiate for the sewing of some bespoke shirts. It all makes the city so much more accessible!
