Description
Sortez de la ville et passez une journée relaxante et paisible dans la nature dans les magnifiques chaînes de Dandenong, à moins d'une heure de Melbourne par la route. Découvrez les forêts majestueuses et anciennes lors d'une promenade tranquille et repérez la faune. Avec un peu de chance, nous pourrions tomber sur le magnifique et insaisissable Lyrebird. Découvrez la faune et la flore, ainsi que l'histoire de la région. Profitez d'un déjeuner sain dans un restaurant accueillant et confortable. Après le déjeuner, nous irons aux jardins Alfred Nicholas qui a un magnifique jardin de lac d'inspiration Japonaise au bas de la colline et puis notre dernière étape sera au jardin botanique Dandenong Ranges qui met en valeur un jardin australien indigène primé. Il s'agit d'une visite privée pouvant accueillir un groupe de 7 personnes maximum et personnalisable le jour même. Veuillez noter que si vous effectuez une réservation pour vous ou votre groupe, personne d'autre ne pourra réserver, assurant qu'il s'agit d'une visite privée uniquement pour vous.

Itinéraire
Promenez-vous dans la forêt principale des monts Dandenong, où vous serez parmi les deuxièmes arbres les plus hauts du monde, l'eucalyptus des frênes de la montagne et l'ancienne forêt de fougères. Imprégnez-vous des images et des sons de cette belle forêt.
Après notre promenade en forêt, nous nous dirigerons vers le petit village de Kallista pour nous arrêter dans un restaurant confortable pour le déjeuner.
Après le déjeuner, nous nous dirigerons vers les magnifiques jardins Alfred Nicholas, nous ferons une promenade et passerons du temps dans le jardin du lac à thème japonais vers le bas. Un endroit populaire pour la photographie.
Après la promenade dans les jardins Alfred Nicholas, nous nous rendrons aux jardins botaniques de Dandenong Ranges pour découvrir le Chelsea Australian Garden primé, et flâner dans les jardins botaniques. C'est un kaléidoscope de couleurs au printemps, mais il est magnifique en toutes saisons.

I can't say enough about our day with Jay in Dandenong. He picked us up promptly at the time of our choosing, he had an encyclopedic knowledge of the plants, animals, people and geography of the area, and most importantly he was super friendly and really put us at ease. We now have a smart new friend in Australia. The forests and gardens in the mountains are stunning and soothing. Well worth the short trip out from the hustle of Melbourne.

We appreciated Jay’s suggestion to start our tour earlier to benefit the better weather and cooler temperatures for our hikes. The hikes were stunning and our lunch stop was well timed. Jay’s knowledge of the flora and fauna was impressive.

Had a wonderful day with Jay. He is quite knowledgeable about the area - it’s flora and fauna and it was so nice to see how much he loves Australia and being out in nature - making him the perfect guide for this excursion. His transportation is comfortable. Had a great lunch too. We had nice conversation- felt like we got to know him without being overwhelmed or talked at all day like tours can sometimes be. We found it spectacular to see the tall trees and all the beautiful gardens. Highly recommend!

It was a beautiful, relaxing day in nature. Jay was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting conversation and insights. The eucalyptus forest smelled incredible and we enjoyed watching all of the birds. Lunch was delicious and we really enjoyed seeing the Australian plants at the botanic gardens.
