Le complexe pyramidal de Gizeh (également appelé nécropole de Gizeh) en Égypte abrite la Grande Pyramide, la Pyramide de Khafré et la Pyramide de Menkaure, ainsi que leurs complexes pyramidaux associés et le Grand Sphinx. Tous ont été construits pendant la Quatrième Dynastie de l'Ancien Empire de l'Égypte ancienne, entre c. 2600 – vers. 2500 avant JC. Le site comprend également plusieurs temples, cimetières et les vestiges d'un village ouvrier.
Le Grand Musée égyptien (GEM ; arabe : المتحف المصرى الكبير al-Matḥaf al-Maṣriyy al-Kabīr), également connu sous le nom de musée de Gizeh, est un musée archéologique en construction à Gizeh, en Égypte, à environ 2 kilomètres (1,2 miles) du Complexe pyramidal de Gizeh. Le musée accueillera plus de 100 000 artefacts de la civilisation égyptienne antique, y compris la collection complète de Toutankhamon, et de nombreuses pièces seront exposées pour la première fois.[4] Avec 81 000 m2 (872 000 pieds carrés) de surface au sol, ce sera le plus grand musée archéologique du monde.[5] Il est construit dans le cadre d'un nouveau plan directeur pour le plateau de Gizeh, connu sous le nom de « Gizeh 2030 ».

If you have only one day in Egypt you must visit those two places they are close to each other but you will spend the whole day there

Amazing day as you were going to see the pyramids and sphinx! Hotel pick-up very convenient. Be prepared to set your schedule though. We were extremely rushed. We didn’t spend the time there we expected. We had traveled around the world to seek this experience and take it all in. We arrived at sphinx for a quick picture and then had to rush into car. Yes it is crowded. We thought we were driving to park and get out or go around and we exited. What?! We were in shock in the car. Same at museum. We were taking out time to see the many incredible artifacts and felt rushed. Camel ride a must do as cool experience. Don’t go with homemade lunch. It was good but took away our time and what the rush was over. Too much personal talk and not much talk of history behind pyramids.
Had a great day with Marwa Galal as my guide. Had to pinch myself I was seeing the wonderful pyramids and then onto the spectacular and new Grand Museum. Thanks Virtue Tours and thanks Marwa. Pick up was good, driver excellent (watch out though, sometimes not all the seat belts work)

It was an exceptional tour and everything was wonderful The pyramids are very beautiful and we were able to enter inside the pyramid It was a wonderful experience and also in the Grand Egyptian Museum there are historical jewelry and very small antiquities It was a wonderful day thank you

My guide was Samira . I was the only tourist that has booked that day. Thus I got a privat tour. I liked it very much. Samira has deep knowledge about the ancient Egypt. She knows many details and facts. She also took care that I could make a lot of really nice photos. Lunch was also very good.

tailored to our needs. Marwa, our guide, was extremely knowledgable and we learned a lot. Water was provided in the nicely air conditioned car. Also, when we mentioned that we would need a nice coffee, Marwa made sure that we would take a break and get some. The buffet lunch was very high quality and all in all, the sites visited (Sakkara, Memphis and the pyramids) were stunning! We were not at all pressured to by anything anywhere and Marwa took lots of great pictures of us :) Thank you for the wonderful day!
