La rizière en terrasse de Tegallalang est un site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO à Bali, en Indonésie, qui offre des rizières en terrasse et des vues panoramiques. Il est également connu sous le nom de rizières de Tegallalang ou rizières d'Ubud.
Le temple d'eau bénite Tirta Empul est situé dans le village de Manukaya, près de la ville de Tampaksiring, non loin d'Ubud, dans la régence de Gianyar, le cœur culturel de Bali. Le temple est situé juste en dessous du palais présidentiel de Tampaksiring. Construit en 1957 par le premier président indonésien, Soekarno, le palais magnifiquement construit lui-même est un repère important de l'île et du pays. Avec le palais présidentiel, le temple d'eau bénite Tirta Empul offre certaines des vues les plus fascinantes que vous ne verrez jamais. En tant que centre de pétirtaan ou de baignade, Tirta Empul est un grand complexe de temples et il faut au moins 30 minutes à une heure pour explorer l'ensemble du site. Tout comme dans les autres temples et sites sacrés autour de l'île, vous devrez mettre un "sarong" avant d'entrer dans les lieux. Les paréos sont disponibles à l'entrée du temple et peuvent être loués pour un petit don.

We had an incredible private day trip in Bali with Esa. He was so kind and welcoming, and he shared so much about the local culture and the places we visited. An excursion to absolutely do if you want to see the essentials of Ubud (monkeys, temple, rice fields, etc.... We were lucky to have Esa as a guide. He was very attentive, smiling, attentive to our needs and gave us plenty of explanations about the places, customs, and Balinese life, and he is an outstanding driver in this difficult traffic. Thanks to him for allowing us to have a beautiful day, we highly recommend him.
This was a great, well balanced and paced tour taking in the highlights of the Ubud region in Bali. The half day tour included four diversified locations, starting with the Monkey Forest right at feeding time, followed by the majestic rice terraces. We then continued to a local and serene Ubud temple finishing with a visit to a coffee plantation complete with free tastings of 14 varieties of coffee and tea. We then stopped for lunch at an atmospheric restaurant overlooking rice fields. The tour company, Bali Local Host, was very easy to communicate with and my assigned tour guide, Esa, was excellent. He is youthful and cheerful, always with a smile, and very knowledgeable about Bali and all the locations we visited. He speaks excellent English and is fun and easy to talk to. I would love to have Esa as my guide on any future tour. The tour began at 8am from my hotel in Seminyak and I was dropped off at about 2.30pm, leaving the afternoon free to relax and explore. This was the perfect schedule for my plans. I highly recommend booking this tour if you plan on visiting Bali and would like a cultural experience.
Esa was a fantastic guide for this tour, he told us so much about everywhere we visited and answered all of our questions. Along the way he also told us lots of interesting facts about Balinese culture. The traffic is intense but Esa was such a competent driver we felt safe all the time. Highlights of this trip - all of it, the Holy Water temple, Monkey forest, rice terrace and Lewak coffee tasting.

I am so happy we booked with this company!! Esa was on time, very communicative, and fun to spend the day with. He took us to the sites, and as a Bali native, was great at explaining and answering questions. He took plenty of pictures for us - something we tend to lack getting while traveling. His car was clean, had AC, and in great condition.
