Terminez la journée par une visite d'orientation de la ville de Stellenbosch en voiture - la deuxième plus ancienne ville d'Afrique du Sud et abritant plus de 200 domaines viticoles. C'est la visite idéale pour les clients disposant de peu de temps ou qui ne souhaitent visiter que quelques établissements vinicoles des vignobles du Cap.

Peu de temps après la prise en charge à votre hébergement à Cape Town, nous longerons la route nationale N1 en direction du domaine Fairview Wine and Cheese.
À notre arrivée au domaine Fairview Wine and Cheese, votre guide vous accompagnera jusqu'à la zone de dégustation de vins. En errant entre les 4 modules de dégustation de vins et la délicieuse charcuterie Fromages et condiments, vous aurez l'occasion de déguster six des meilleurs vins et fromages produits dans cette région. Le vin et le fromage sont tous disponibles à l'achat.
Nous roulons sur une courte distance jusqu'à Babylonstoren. Situé avec en toile de fond les montagnes Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof et Franschhoek, Babylonstoren est l'un des plus beaux domaines viticoles des Cape Winelands. Le domaine dispose d'un jardin de fruits et légumes et d'un restaurant de la ferme à la table appelé Babel (réservation indispensable). Il y a deux autres restaurants sur le domaine, Greenhouse et the Bakery. Greenhouse sert des déjeuners et des rafraîchissements sous forme de pique-nique, tandis que la boulangerie sert des dîners informels. Nous passons 1 heure à un voyage de dégustation de 3 ou 7 des meilleurs vins disponibles à l'achat chez Babylonstoren.
Notre dernier arrêt au domaine viticole sera au Marianne Wine Estate. Marianne produit certains des meilleurs cultivars de vin rouge d'Afrique du Sud. Ici, nous profiterons d'une dégustation de Biltong et de Vin. Marianne croit que le biltong (viande séchée) rehausse les saveurs du vin produit. Le vin Floreal de Marianne a été cueilli à la main par le chef Gordon Ramsey pour le 90e anniversaire de Nelson Mandela au palais de Buckingham.
Nous prenons une route panoramique à travers la rue Dorp dans la ville de Stellenbosch, la deuxième plus ancienne ville d'Afrique du Sud, lors d'une visite d'orientation de la ville en voiture. Découvrez les maisons historiques de style hollandais du Cap et la célèbre université de Stellenbosch.
De là, nous retournons au Cap pour le déposer à votre hébergement entre 14h00 et 14h30.

Gordon was an amazing tour guide and took us to some of the best wineries in Stellenbosch. We did not feel rushed and we were able to really soak in the experience. I highly recommend this half day tour if you’re looking to get out of the city and see some beautiful landscapes nearby.

We LOVED our tour guide, Ray who was so professional and informative, and the wine venues, themselves, were great. Viator, however, isn’t to be trusted with scheduling. We’ve only used them twice, in two different parts of the world, and they botched our schedules, both times. Go direct with local tour guides and bypass Viator if at all possible.

We had a wonderful day with our private driver- It was a last minute booking and the driver Thomas was so kind and fun! Very knowlegeable about wines and the area. He chose 3 different wineries - each had food (usually to purchase) and a lovely tasting. He would make sure that they would seat us right away by communicating with those in charge. I highly recommend this trip!

We visited 2 estates, Demorgenzen and Marianne. Both were pleasant and picturesque. Reagan was our friendly& well versed guide&driver, he shares some knowledge and history of the estates and we will definitely be back to visit more farms and ask for him by name.

We had the best day visiting Stellenbosch. Reagan was the best guide, with excellent local knowledge and kept us laughing throughout. We went to Demorganzan and marianne winery’s with a lovely stop off in Stellenbosch town in between, visiting the local museum. It was a perfect day out, with the nicest guide we could have asked for. Would highly recommend doing this tour and ask for Reagan!
