Partez en voiture pour le village de pêcheurs de Kampong Phluk. Ensuite, faites une courte croisière en bateau à travers le village de pêcheurs et les mangroves jusqu'au magnifique lac Tonle Sap, le deuxième plus grand lac d'eau douce au monde. Nous nous arrêterons dans une maison flottante pour admirer les paysages environnants. Ensuite, vous flânerez dans le Village pour voir les activités quotidiennes des villageois. Vous verrez les Maisons construites sur des pilotis hauts, les enfants jouent aux gens cuisinent, et d’autres activités spontanées. Cette vie villageoise traditionnelle est restée en grande partie inchangée pendant des siècles. Vous vous arrêterez également pour visiter un marché local situé sur la rive de la rivière Rolous. Le marché de Rolous est l'un des marchés importants où les villageois locaux s'y rendent le matin et en fin d'après-midi pour acheter des légumes frais, de la viande, des fruits, du poisson d'eau douce ainsi que des articles ménagers. C'est le plus ancien marché khmer de cette région et une visite incontournable pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir le mode de vie local.
Kampong Phlouk est une destination idéale pour les touristes qui souhaitent visiter les mangroves et les forêts inondées ainsi que les villages flottants. Visitez le magnifique Tonlé Sap, le lac est le 2ème plus grand lac d'eau douce au monde. Ce lac est l'élément vital du pays et la principale source de poisson et de protéines pour la plupart de la population cambodgienne. Visitez la forêt inondée et les villages flottants. Vous verrez un village de pêcheurs flottant qui se déplace au fur et à mesure que le niveau de l'eau monte et descend au cours de l'année. Votre guide local vous expliquera le mode de vie et le travail quotidien d'un local qui vit sur terre et sur l'eau. En chemin, vous vous arrêterez à certains endroits pour explorer les villages locaux à pied, rencontrer et discuter avec la population locale.
La communauté dépend en grande partie de la pêche pour sa survie, principalement de la crevette, et passe la saison des pluies à pêcher au Cambodge. De nombreuses maisons et bâtiments sont construits sur pilotis allant de 6 m à 9 m pour s'adapter aux changements de niveau d'eau entre les saisons humides et sèches. Pendant la saison sèche (novembre-avril), alors que le fleuve s'amincit en raison du retrait des eaux, beaucoup se tournent vers l'agriculture pour compléter leurs revenus. Le tourisme, qui a débuté dans le village il y a environ 10 ans, constitue également une part croissante de l'économie locale.

This is a great half day tour! Sim and our driver were fantastic. On time pickup, very professional, and informative. The local marker tour is interesting and the boat ride is a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

The trip was really interesting. As well as the village, we visited a local market and had a boat ride on the lake, visiting a crocodile farm. Our guide told us lots about Cambodia, local life and the importance of the lake to the 1.3 million people who live around it. I would highly recommend this trip.

We made a late booking just evening before the morning tour. Were very happy to have an available slot. Website booking was easy and confirmation was clear. Pickup from hotel was fussfree and very punctual. Our guide: Mr Sim Sokoan was very patient and thorough. He explained clearly what the half day trip was and the timings to expect. The trip is really value for money. This was one of the most reasonable rates, and we were so surprised that it was a private tour for only 2 of us! The private tour was fantastic. The tour guide speaks fluent english and tells a lot of interesting facts. We could ask him anything about Cambodia. There were no other tourists at the local market. We tasted different types of fruit. In the tuktuk was free cool water. The floated village was very beautifull and it was interesting to walk around the not floated part aswell. Highly recommend.
