Visitez le palais le plus important de l'Empire Ottoman Cette résidence royale du XVe siècle a servi de cœur politique, administratif et cérémoniel à l'Empire ottoman pendant près de 400 ans.
Construit au VIe siècle, ce vaste réservoir souterrain alimentait autrefois en eau les palais impériaux d’Istanbul et fascine toujours les visiteurs avec ses colonnes atmosphériques et ses têtes de Méduse.
Achevée en 1616, la mosquée est réputée pour ses tuiles bleues frappantes d'Iznik et se présente comme l'une des plus grandes réalisations architecturales de l'époque ottomane.
Construite à l'origine en 537, Sainte-Sophie a servi de cathédrale, de mosquée et de musée, reflétant l'histoire hétéroclite et l'héritage architectural inégalé d'Istanbul.
Fondé au XVe siècle, le Grand Bazar est l’un des plus anciens et des plus grands marchés couverts du monde, célèbre pour sa tradition commerciale séculaire et son atmosphère dynamique.

We had a long day, but wonderful tour with Omer. We saw so many historical sights! The Cistern was a highlight! Prepare for a lot of walking and photo opportunities. Our guide was very kind and was happy to stop for rest breaks whenever necessary. He knew the right time for us to enter the Blue Mosque, with limited waiting. He knew which shopping areas had the best quality products.

It is good to know something about the history of Turkey but I missed visiting more sites as I think I could have taken better advantage of the opportunity to have a private guide
