Ada is perfect and very friendly. She organizes the tours perfectly and takes your wishes and interests into account. Through her commentary, she made us live in the 1st century AD. Sensitive and competent, she captivated us both in Pompeii and Herculaneum. If we return to Naples, we will call upon her knowledge again.

We had a beautiful, minimally crowded, surprisingly sunny day to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum, taking about 6.5 hours including some time for lunch in between locations. Ada is someone who obviously loves her job & has a very deep knowledge of both locations, which she shared with us with both reverence & humor. We learned so much about Roman daily life, culture and politics of 79 AD. Ada was receptive to our questions and adapted the time we had to fit our interests, since you cannot possibly see everything. It is a lot of walking, with uneven pavements so take that into account. We were glad we saw both Pompeii and Herculaneum, as each had a different story to tell in the way that the tragedy unfolded. Having a personal guide really brought the experience to life in a way that I do not think would have happened with an audio or self-guided tour. Since we traveled so far & waited so long to see these sights, it was definitely worth the price. And we can't imagine a better guide than Ada.
