Visite politique de La Paz : Histoire, Politique & Culture

Description

We had a fantastic experience on this political tour. Edson speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about Bolivia’s political history. We really enjoyed his explanations. He seemed very passionate about his country and gave a lot of context to places we would have not understood on our own. I think we left with a much better understanding of La Paz and Bolivia, but would like to go back to learn more:). We liked this tour so much that we went to his food tour the next day which was also amazing. Highly recommended for anyone interested in politics, history.
This tour was the last thing I did on my trip to Bolivia, and it really helped me understand the country, history and politics. I had heard bits and pieces of the history and culture, but Edson provided the complete picture. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave a clear picture of the politics and events that made Bolivia what it is today. He was very patient with my many questions, which led to interesting conversation. We met at the Plaza Murillo in the Centro area, and ended nearby at the Witches Market. The tour included a cable-car ride to the National Museum of Revolution. The tour was efficient but not hurried. I highly recommend!
Great tour of La Paz. This was a private tour and Edson catered it to my interests. I recommend it.
We had a wunderful experience with Edson. He showed us the best places around and had a broad knowledge about politics, history and daily live. We can recommend this tour to all who wants a quick introduction to LaPaz and Bolivia.
The city tour was excellent! Edson explained to us the history and politics of Bolivia very excitingly and vividly. The route was very well chosen and we saw both the main sights and hidden corners. We recommend the tour with Edson 100%, thank you for the exciting insight into your country!
Edson is knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Bolivia and La Paz’s history through important landmarks and the stories behind them. That helped us better understand the current protests as well. Really fascinating! Edson also showed us really good local food options. We only found out later he has a food tour, which we would have definitely signed up for!
You get to see La Paz’s major cemetery (Cementario General) - it is so big, it has street signs. You also get to go to Mirador Killi Killi. Plus you get an aerial tour of the city and its neighborhoods, and you finish off going through the Witches Market. Highly recommended. Please note, the aerial tramway is a working people’s mode of transportation.
We had a great tour with Edson. He gave us lots of local information. We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend to anyone. Thank you for a great morning.
