Cet après-midi, vous rencontrerez votre Guide Expert local pour une promenade détendue dans le quartier historique du Marais à Paris, suivie d'une belle dégustation de vins et fromages Français sélectionnés. Cette visite gastronomique et historique vous permettra de comprendre l'étendue des influences qui ont affecté le développement du Marais dans le quartier branché et charmant qu'il est aujourd'hui. Limitée à seulement 8 personnes, cette visite est le moyen idéal pour se détendre après une journée mouvementée de visites ou même commencer une soirée amusante à Paris!

Itinéraire
Vous retrouverez votre guide rue de Rivoli, la plus grande avenue romaine qui sépare le Marais Nord du Marais Sud. Le Village Saint Paul regorge d'antiquaires, de galeries d'art et de rues paisibles.
En parcourant Le Marais, vous découvrirez l'enceinte fortifiée du Paris médiéval, construite en 1190 pour protéger la ville des invadors. Nous apercevrons l'une des tours restantes du mur, et observerons ce que l'urbanisme parisien a réussi à protéger.
Ce charmant bâtiment aux allures de château montre un bel exemple d'architecture gothique du XVIe siècle. Il est maintenant utilisé comme bibliothèque publique avec une grande collection de livres d'art et de design.
Profitez d'une belle promenade le long de la Seine, et appréciez l'architecture de l'île Saint Louis et les ponts qui relient la rive droite aux îles où l'histoire de Paris a commencé. Vous devriez pouvoir voir la cathédrale Notre-Dame de son dos.
Nous passerons devant les magnifiques Hôtels Particuliers qui restaient des demeures d'aristocrates du 17ème siècle, quand Le Marais était encore un paysage de campagne où vignes et fermes, propriétés des moines, étaient irriguées par la Seine, donnant au quartier son nom de marécages..
Terminons notre promenade avec un bon verre de vin et du fromage et profitons de la compagnie de votre hôte et d'autres invités pour partager des expériences sur Paris, la meilleure façon de garder de bons souvenirs!

Great local insight! Good listener, and huge historical frame of reference for our tour. Being on a tour with David is like being with a good friend!
Katie was an excellent guide, pointing out street art and giving a great hiistory lesson of the Marais and how it fits in with French history. We learned a lot and had some great wine, cheese, and conversation at the end.
Great way to see the area. Enjoyed a fun wine and cheese tasting and excellent guide sharing history and wine knowledge.

We were really looking forward to this. Got to meeting point early and 10 min before start time it started to pour down hard rain. We communicated to our guide (they had nicely provided her number prior) and we all decided not to do the walk tour in the pouring rain. When we asked for a refund the guide pushed it to her boss and provided his number. We texted him and also asked aviator to reach out. They sent our message to him and we followed up and he never responded and we did not get a refund!! Very disappointed and frustrated. There are so many other tour options. I do not recommend this one. 😠
I did not get to experience the tour due to rain. However, after contacting Viator they provided me a full refund. This makes me confident and will reschedule a tour when back in Paris. Thank you Viator team!
This tour is a must! Our guide, David took us off the beaten path so we saw things we normally would not have seen. We throughly enjoyed the walking tour and last but not least the wine and cheese taking at the end was wonderful too. I highly recommend this tour.
The tour guide was very difficult to hear and understand. The tour itself was not what we expected. The cheese and wine tasting was at the end. We paid nearly 400$ to walk around a few city blocks and get a tiny cheese plate at the end for four people. Tour guide new nothing about the wine and the staff at the restaurant had no involvement or engagement in the fact that we were there. Do not recommend.

Just the two of us + the guide on our tour. Was like taking a stroll in the afternoon with your French grandmother. Viviana was kind, knowledgeable, and gave us a different view on a lot of things we had been overlooking! Three full pours of wine at the end. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in history and looking for quality time with a local Parisian.
