Visite à pied du Garden District à La Nouvelle-Orléans

Description

Karen was a wonderful tour guide! I have lived here for a few years, and brought some friends from out of town - it was great to learn so much about the city! We did the Garden District tour - definitely would recommend.
Thanks for recommending our New Orleans Garden District walking tour. Karen, in addition to being a stellar tour guide is a professional city planner which really enhances her walks in a special way. We're delighted to offer small groups so locals and visitors alike can receive personalized attention. See you on the streets.
This was an excellent and informative tour. Bonnie was wonderful. Everything was perfect and can’t say enough good things about it.
Bonnie is a treasure and well positioned to lead tours in the New Orleans Garden District as she lives here! Thanks for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review.
My group did this tour with Bonnie and really enjoyed it. We learned about the different architecture in the area along with history of some of the homes. Bonnie was a wealth of information and guided our group through this area with ease. Highly recommend this tour and this tour company if you're interested in learning more about the Garden District.
The New Orleans Garden District endures as a neighborhood with historical significance and a past that is as complex as it is beautiful. It's our hope to provide insight and context to the architecture, people and various time periods.
This was a fantastic experience! We loved our tour guide Emily, who was informative, funny, and very personable. Even though we had unexpected rain on / off during the tour everyone had a great attitude and rolled with it. Definitely would recommend this company to others looking to learn more about the Garden District or who enjoy a smaller tour size for a great price / value. Will be checking out other Two Chicks tours in the future.
Rain is a part of the cultural experience in New Orleans, if you haven't been surprised by a shower - did you even visit? We're so glad that Emily made the experience so memorable. She's invested so much time and effort into the details of the Garden District walking tour that she presents plus she's designed our historic walk of the Carrollton neighborhood. Her dedication to our guests and to the history of this much beloved place is unmistakable. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We've done our best to take into consideration the details of group size and timeliness in our design. The city would allow up to 28 guests and a guide and that just feels like too much to us. We also don't cancel due to low guest count.
Bonnie was great! We all learned a lot and the whole family said the walking tour was the highlight of our couple days in New Orleans. Being from Iowa we got a kick out of the corn fence, even if it was an aesthetic favorite! 🌽. Highly recommend the Garden District tour!
Thank you so much for trusting us with your family's memories and taking the time to write a review. Bonnie is a wonderful guide and cares deeply about delivering the best tour possible to our guests. New Orleans has many walking tour options and we're delighted you selected our small business. The Garden District walking tour we present has been designed to provide lots of information in well constructed stories that our guides research and consistently refine. That corn motif was considered quite elite! I love catching glimpses of different sections of it around town.
Fabulous tour and Bonnie did a wonderful job providing information! I really enjoyed it!
Thank you, your review really helps us stay visible in a noisy online world. We completely agree, Bonnie is an especially gifted tour guide in a city of gifted guides. New Orleans walking tour options certainly are abundant here and we appreciate your support of our small business. We hope if you have a chance again in the future, you'll join us in the French Quarter or historic Carrollton neighborhoods or walk again with us in the Garden District.
Danell (rhymes with flannel) was a fantastic guide had a lot of great stories covered a lot of ground and made for the most enjoyable experience in New Orleans. I would highly recommend this to any and all. I had three friends with me. They were a little reluctant to go because they didn’t know it would be, but once they did it, they thought it was one of the most fun things we did in our weekend in New Orleans.
We love converts - LOL. Thanks for providing Dannal a shout out in your review, she's a fascinating person to spend time with. New Orleans has so many walking tour companies, it really is humbling to have visitors select our small shop of storytellers, we don't take it for granted.
We loved everything about this tour: the small group size, the duration, the price and the experience itself. Emily was FANTASTIC - knowledgeable, funny, and super engaging throughout the entire two hours as she wove together New Orleans history, architectural history and restoration, insider insights related to some of the houses that we saw, and humorous asides throughout the tour. We were staying with locals and immediately went back and told them that they need to recommend this tour to all of their friends and family that come to visit!
Tell me more - tell me more! Your review does my small business owner's heart good. One of our reviews referred to Emily as a gem and so I say to you - Em the gem strikes again!
We had an amazing walking tour of the Garden District with Leslie Wheeler and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. She was warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the history and stories of the neighborhood come alive. Leslie spoke clearly, answered every question with ease, and made a point to connect with everyone in the group, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and her passion made the tour even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Leslie for anyone wanting a memorable Garden District tour—an easy five stars!
Connection and context is what it's all about. Thank you for singing Leslie's praises, her love of home is undeniable as she walks our small groups through the New Orleans Garden District. The details surrounding authenticity while on our walking tours are appreciated.
Emily was an absolute gem. She was very knowledgeable of the history of NOLA and the homes within the Garden District. Very expressive, animated, and interactive with our group of 14 people. The wealth of historical information that she shared was so interesting that she had the rapt attention of her entire group. If you are interested in touring the Garden District I would highly recommend Emily.
Em the gem - that's what I'm going to call her next time I see her and she is EXACTLY that. Thanks so much for the review, there's so many activities in New Orleans, it really helps to have our customers support us. Your kind words amplify what we hope to put out in the world. You're so on the mark about how smart she is to and the way she so many facts at the ready is truly nothing short of impressive.
