La visite commence à la station historique Baker Street Station, l’un des premiers arrêts du Metropolitan Railway, le premier métro du monde.
Station Oxford Circus - La construction a commencé en 1962 sur le premier tronçon de Walthamstow à Victoria, où un échange entre plates-formes devait être assuré à Oxford Circus. Les quais de la ligne Victoria ont ouvert leurs portes le 7 mars 1969. La gare a été ouverte dans le cadre d'une deuxième extension de Warren Street à Victoria.
Green Park, station Down Street - Il a été ouvert en 1907 par les chemins de fer Great Northern, Piccadilly et Brompton. Elle était desservie dernièrement par la ligne Piccadilly et se situait entre les stations Dover Street (maintenant appelée Green Park) et Hyde Park Corner. [...] Son manque de clientèle associé à sa proximité avec d’autres gares a entraîné sa fermeture en 1932.
Station de cirque Picadilly - Aller à l'histoire - Histoire. La gare fut ouverte le 10 mars 1906 par Baker Street et Waterloo Railway (maintenant la ligne Bakerloo). Les quais des chemins de fer Great Northern, Piccadilly et Brompton (maintenant la ligne Piccadilly) furent ouverts à partir du 15 décembre 1906.
Embankment Station - Histoire de Embankment Embankment s'étend de la ville de Westminster à la ville de London, le long de la rive nord de la Tamise, et a été développé au XIXe siècle pour récupérer les terres marécageuses des berges.
Westminster Tube Station - Résultat de l'histoire de la station de métro Westminster La gare fut inaugurée le 24 décembre 1868 sous le nom de Westminster Bridge par la District Railway (DR), une entreprise à vapeur (aujourd'hui la ligne District), qui ouvrit la première section de sa ligne depuis South Kensington. ... L'accès à la gare se faisait par un passage de Bridge Street et par un passage souterrain situé sous la route.

For years, I wanted to do this tour but couldn't due to time constraints or because it was sold out. This year at my 6th. The visit to London should finally work out. I arrived 30 minutes early at the meeting point and waited there. I saw another group, but that was a different tour. That guide then said that a group had just left, but that could not have been mine in terms of timing. At some point, a couple arrived who had also booked my tour. But still, there was no guide at the scheduled time. There was no cancellation, no email or SMS. Just nothing. Fortunately, the couple spoke good English and then called the customer service of the provider (Get Your Guide). They knew nothing about the tour and had no information on why it was not taking place. I received my money back three days later, thankfully. Just an absolute disappointment.
Excellent! Guide Aaron was very personable and a good communicator with an impressive depth of knowledge. Venues visited were deeply relevant to the history and development of the London Underground.

We had an absolutely fantastic guided tour with Aaron! He is an amazing storyteller — the history was presented in such a fun and engaging way, full of fascinating historical facts while still being easy to follow throughout. Even the 35°C heat on what was apparently London’s hottest May day ever couldn’t ruin the experience. Aaron made the tour so enjoyable that we almost forgot about the temperature. Highly recommended!
