Visite à pied des Sassi de Matera - GUIDE PREMIUM

Description

I had a last minute cancellation because the guide was sick but I was added to a Passi Nei Sassi group, which was also a small group. Patrizia was a kind and knowledgeable guide who gave useful information on the history of the sassi. I would recommend the tour.
Grace gave us a very informative and interesting tour of Matera combining history and some Matera culture.
Fabulous and interesting tour with Georgia. Just the right pace, very informative and we really enjoyed it. Thoroughly recommended!
Fabulous guided walking tour of the Sassi. Knowledgeable guide with earpieces and a mic to gain his fascinating local insight. The most interesting details into the long and short term history of this magical place. Bring water - it gets really hot!
Thank you for your beautiful review. Warm regards from Matera!
A wonderful tour with a knowledgeable guide. Small group was the perfect size for exploring Matera’s old town.
The tour was good, she told a lot (sometimes a bit too long-winded) and she showed us the beautiful places. In the reservation was also a visit to the church including entrance fee, but we have not been to a church at all! The tour was for 2 hours but we finished after 1.5 hours.
Georgia was an excellent guide for the two hours. Deep longstanding local knowledge and experience, with perfect English. . Highly recommend Georgia for a well paced very informative tour.
We really enjoyed our tour, our guide Georgia was great and looked after us well.
Giorgia (Garafalo, I think) gave my wife and I a tour of Matera. It was a nice small tour and Giorgia was marvelous. She was very conscious of making sure everyone was comfortable and within minutes of the tour starting she was telling us things that we never knew (and we have been coming to Italy for 50 years). In over 2 hours we learned so much about Matera and we highly recommend that people visiting this amazing place hire Giorgia. There is so much that you will miss if you simply wander around without a knowledgeable guide like Giorgia.
Our guide was wonderful. He had grown up In Matera and was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He also knew about a lot of the art, churches etc. It really made for an awesome tour. So grateful!
