Les points forts de cette promenade d'une demi-journée comprennent les jardins royaux du château de Prague avec son éblouissant palais d'été du Belvédère commandé par Ferdinand Ier comme cadeau romantique à sa femme, la fontaine chantante en bronze à cloche, la maison de la figue et l'orangerie, où figues, amandes , des oranges et des citrons ont été cultivés pour la première fois en Europe centrale et dans le grand jardin Wallenstein, avec ses paons blancs, ses statues maniéristes, son mur de grotte et ses fontaines mythiques.

Promenez-vous dans le jardin baroque unique pour admirer la statuaire et le décor sculptural originaux du début des années 1700 et admirez la beauté et le symbolisme répertoriés par l'UNESCO pour ses valeurs culturelles historiques. Offre certaines des plus belles vues de Prague et de son château
Admirez les jardins du palais Wallenstein construits dans les années 1600 et actuellement ouverts au public comme les jardins du Sénat de la République tchèque. Le jardin à l'italienne comprend une volière, une grotte artificielle, une galerie sculpturale de héros mythologiques et une fontaine d'Adrian de Vries.
Promenez-vous dans le jardin royal du château de Prague établi sur le site des vignobles médiévaux des années 1500. Un jardin de la Renaissance devint plus tard célèbre pour ses spécimens botaniques rares et ses plantes exotiques de pays lointains.
Terminé au milieu du XVIe siècle, le palais d’été de la reine Anna est l’architecture de la Renaissance la plus pure en dehors du territoire italien. Le palais est Le bâtiment est entouré d'une frise ornementale et figurative. Les piliers des arcades extérieures ont décoré des têtes toscanes, tandis que les reliefs sur les murs représentent des scènes de la mythologie, de la chasse et des guerres. Parmi eux, il y a la figure du fondateur Ferdinand I avec l'Ordre de la Toison d'Or sur sa poitrine, offrant à la dame - sa femme, la reine Anna - une fleur de figuier.
Cet édifice Renaissance situé du côté sud des jardins royaux, directement au-dessus du Stag Moat, a été construit au milieu du XVIe siècle. Il a servi de salle de jeux de balle, puis d’école d’équitation et d’écurie.

- Cette visite consiste à monter des escaliers raides dans le jardin Vrtba pour atteindre la plus haute terrasse. Si vous avez des difficultés à grimper, vous pouvez attendre le groupe sur la deuxième terrasse et nous reviendrons dans 10 minutes. Une autre option est de prendre la visite privée où nous pouvons modifier cette partie pour vous et votre groupe personnel.

Our guide was excellent, sharing interesting facts and observances about the gardens as well as some history of the venues and the City. We were there before the high season and were the only people on the tour, so we were able to interact with her much then we would have on a larger tour. She was very personalable and knowledgeable. The cost was higher than other tours of the same length but ended up being worth it. Note: lots of steps!

Beautiful succession of gardens, cultivated floors, flowering groves and rare trees hundreds of years more beautiful than each other: maples of Norway, purple beech, tulip tree, jacaranda, etc... We admire the Renaissance-style gazebo, the singing fountain, the sgraphites of the Jeu de Paume. A moment of calm and rest. Ideal for reading, painting or the art of photography.
This was a lovely, intimate tour through some of Prague's rich history. The small group size allowed our guide to customize the tour to our interests. Surprises abound! Although we've been to Prague many times, this tour introduced us to marvelous places that were just off the beaten path. We found ourselves viewing old Prague from a new perspective.
I can't think of a better way to spend a few hours in Prague immersed in its history, culture, and foliage! This tour has something for everyone: garden lovers, history lovers, and travelers seeking a sense of the city's nobility. Our guide took us places that no "commoner" would ever have been allowed to see, and the tour offered unparalleled views of the Prague Castle and the city. Even during peak tourist season, the gardens were peaceful and quiet, offering a lovely break from the crowds. Highly recommended!
Being a Praguener and having lived in the old part of the city for decades, I was offered a new, refreshing and wonderfully knowledgeable perspective on my own birthplace. This tour of Prague´s Renaissance and Baroque Gardens was a wondeful moment. Bonita´s deep knowledge of Greek and Roman mythology sheded light on every single piece of sculpture present in these gardens revealing how Ancient Greek and Romans myths and gods were meticuliously chosen to serve modern political propaganda. The sights on the city from the gardens are furthermore absolutely breathtaking! I definitely highly recommend this tour!
