There is a lot of walking with excellent commentary about the Beatles in London in Marylebone. This walking tour includes a ride on a city bus to get to T. John’s Wood for the end of the tour to see the neighborhood of Paul McCartney. Spencer is a good guide.
Spencer brought a personal level of Beatles history to our experience. Simply amazing guide and tour.
Spencer was terrific! He made the tour so enjoyable!
Our tour was very thorough and informative. It took 2 hours and there was a lot of walking (as it should be!!).
Where the Beatles were in London written by someone with real experience of the time and place very interesting
This tour had great potential but our guide felt less than enthusiastic. He forgot info multiple times and relied on the group members to fill in the blanks. He also provided incorrect info once and had to be corrected by a group member. He didn’t offer to take any photos of people crossing Abbey road and just kind of took off after giving us the details. Compared to another tour we took, the guide was just not as full of knowledge as we would’ve expected. Also there was no offers to stop for water or bathroom breaks and it was in the 90s that day.
A great tour for any Beatles fan. Our guide Rob was friendly and very knowledgeable about all of the places we visited and answered questions we put to him too. The tour didn't feel rushed in any way. The highlight was definitely the Abbey Road zebra crossing, even though we could've done this ourselves it was great that it was combined on the tour.
Robert is very knowledgeable and as a big Beatles fan himself, he gave a personal touch to the tour which I found full of interesting facts. I would recommend this walking tour to anyone curious about the Beatles and their relationship with London. The whole walk takes about 2.5 hours - including a short bus ride - and you end up wanting to know more about the Fab Four :)
Robert was very professional and very understanding given my family circumstances. Indeed, I was moved, and he hugged me affectionately. The tour was very interesting, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to discover curiosities about the Beatles.
Really enjoyed Ceri James our guide. Knowledgeable and lovely personality. A+
