Visite à pied de Venise : Manger et boire

Description

Had a great time! Met some lovely people and ate and drank along our way. Very relaxed and enjoyable. Our host Robert was great. Grazie!
Thanks to you dear Nicole, I had a great time too !
For anyone looking for an authentic tour of Venice we highly recommend booking with Roberto!! Roberto took us to non-touristy spots where we got to taste authentic Venetian food. He told interesting stories about the City and took us to spots we wouldnt have known about. He is a very likeable easy going person and we enjoyed getting to know him. A great photographer as well 😂 We really enjoyed this tour with Roberto, highly recommend!!!
Thank you very much, it was a real pleasure for me too to meet you and spend time with you. And... of course, I hope to see you again ! Roberto
Roberto was so sweet and kind! Really got to get to experience venice like a local in the different streets and food! Cicchetti and Gelato was amazing. Definitely recommend.
Thank you so much dear Evelyn, I had too a fantstic afternoon with you !!!
Roberto was super accommodating, allowing me to attend this tour during the craziest time of the year in Venice: The Venice Carnivale- imagine that!!! Despite of us getting stuck in a wall of people, and being surrounded by thousands of locals and tourists in costume for the Venice Carnivale, Roberto still managed to take me to the places he promised, and was patient and super friendly the whole time. There is SO much that we would never know about a place until a native sits with us at the table, walks with us through the streets, and shares facts that we would never even think to ask about. Thank you for a very special experience, Roberto! Your kindness and knowledge are quite evident! I had a very unique time!
Wow ! Thank you so much dear Michelle, your words moved me ! Hope to see you again Roberto
Thanks Roberto, just as we were about to give up on Venice, because it is so crowded, you showed us a different side to the city. Walking away from the crowds, and seeing places we never knew existed. Absolutely the highlight of our visit. Can't wait to go to a bacaro again.
Tahnk you very much Phil, I had a great afteroon too with you. Hope to see you again ! Alle the best, Roberto
Compared to other food & walking tours which charge approx 100 / person, I don’t believe this tour offers good value. This was more like a 50 / person experience. We completed the tour in 95 minutes. On the 3 stops we were provided with two small snacks (two crostini with meat or fish and a gelato), a shot of wine, and a glass of wine. The two bacaros we stopped at had not reserved a table for us, which is customary on these tours. The main stops included a grocery store that was once a theater, the only bridge in Venice without railings, the most narrow alley way in Venice, a large building which once housed a professional basketball team (though we didn’t go inside), a quiet plaza near the Regatto bridge, and an old building converted to a four story luxury shopping mall.
Dear Damien, I'm really sorry that this tour didn't satisfy you completely but please let me tell you some things: since the typical Venetian bar are small places, is not possible to reserve a table: you can reserve only in the most touristic places (but my tour want to show to my clients where the locals live). About the large builiding, is not possible to visit, because it's closed and it opens only for some paid exhibitions. Kind regards Roberto
Roberto was happy to take me on a tour as the only person. He is enthusiastic about the history of Venice and, for those who don't speak Italian or Venetian, his English was excellent. He showed me some unusual sites I would never have known about otherwise.
Thank you so much ! Roberto
Roberto was a great guide. He combined an informative historical and current overview of Venice. The places he chose to stop offered a sampling of what the locals ate and drank. I particularly like how he took me to areas that the average tourist would never go to. If you're booking this tour ask for Roberto.
Thank you a lot Geoff, I hade a great time with you ! Rob
Venice is amazing, but learning about it from a local truly brought this destination to a different level! Roberto exceeded all our expectations and was extremely sweet and kind. We left Venice with a much greater understanding of the city, culture and curiosities ! Highly recommend this enriching experience.
Grazie mille ! When my clients are happy, I'm happy too ! Roberto
Lovely way to see the ‘real’ Venice away from the crowds and eat its speciality tapas. Roberto was a great guide full of fun interesting facts
Thank you dear Sophie, it was a real pleasure for me too ! Roberto
