Description
Promenez-vous dans les rues sombres de Saint-Augustin. Mettez-vous sur les lieux des meurtres, ou dans le décor, où les victimes ont été vues pour la dernière fois ; les derniers instants de leur vie. Apprenez les détails de l’affaire, puis décidez si justice a été rendue ? La bonne personne est-elle condamnée ? Ou peut-être qu’il n’y en avait pas ou qu’il n’y avait pas de solution. Des crimes depuis le plus ancien meurtre non résolu en Floride il y a près de 240 ans, jusqu'à un récent crime très controversé enregistré sur bande. Plongez-vous dans les contes torrides de notre ville et voyez comment vous en ressortez de l'autre côté. Environ 90 minutes ; la taille de la visite reste petite (jusqu'à 12 personnes) pour maintenir une expérience intime et interactive ; cette visite se termine devant un bar local, avec la possibilité d'entrer après la visite avec le guide et de discuter davantage des cas. (ce n'est que facultatif car certaines personnes aiment poursuivre la discussion ; aucune boisson n'est incluse dans le prix du voyage) [15 ans et plus ; visite à pied; pluie ou soleil; ]

Laura was great. She was a wonderful story teller. She told the stories in detail and made of feel like were watching the murders in real time .

This walking tour was done really well, even though our tour guide was doing it for the first time. There was not only relation of what happened to the victims but we as guests were allowed to put forward our own speculations in interesting directions.

Although the tour guide was enthusiastic and energetic, the overall experience was disappointing. The large group was excited to solve crimes and engage with history, but being lectured for more than 90 minutes was not what we anticipated or enjoyed. Much of the background information could have been quickly found through a brief Google search, yet it took 20 minutes to explain. We wouldn’t recommend.
I am sorry your experience was disappointing. The tour however was as planned, with no description or promise of crime solving type of investigating. While some information can certainly be obtained from internet searches, we deep dive and go to uncommon resources for extensive knowledge. "Being lectured" is a bit harsh, when describing and explaining things is exactly what tour guides do, for any type of tour- from history, to ghost to site/location specific to true crime. We all learn, research and then share information.
Loved this experience! Very interesting! Guide was fun & we had a lot of interaction. Highly recommend if you are a true crime junkie like we are!

We enjoyed getting some history about the area and seeing where local crimes happened. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and respectful of the victims. I thought she did a nice job of describing what happened but acknowledging the people who lost their lives.

Me and my fiance had an AMAZING time on this tour and will definitely be returning for another! The hours flew by so fast and Laura was GREAT at answering questions!!! Very immersive and keeps you hooked haha. Highlight of the tour for us personally was her paying homage and telling us the names of a particular set of victims out of respect, Laura you are truly a beautiful soul! Our group was very small, just us, another couple, and of course our hilarious guide and it just made the whole thing even better with how much we were all able to interact! It is a walking tour but there are opportunities to sit throughout if you are not the most able bodied!! Laura was very knowledgeable and even has another/an extension true crime tour if you enjoy this one!! :) Thank you!
