Ivuka Arts Center est un centre artistique et une galerie d'art situé à Kigali, la capitale du Rwanda.
Le site de Kigali, la capitale du Rwanda, où dix casques bleus belges de l'ONU ont été assassinés par les extrémistes hutus afin de provoquer un retrait des forces de l'ONU, ce qui a ensuite ouvert la voie au déroulement du génocide rwandais.
Nyamirambo Women’s Center (NWC), une ONG rwandaise, a été lancée fin 2007 par 18 femmes rwandaises vivant à Nyamirambo, Kigali. Ensemble, ils ont créé un projet visant à lutter contre la violence sexiste, l'inégalité entre les sexes et la discrimination. Aujourd'hui, la mission de NWC est de fournir une éducation et une formation professionnelle aux femmes qui n'ont pas les moyens de payer elles-mêmes une telle formation, afin qu'elles puissent obtenir de meilleures opportunités d'emploi.
Rue colorée de la zone sans voiture, Kigali ! Communément connue comme la capitale de la ville, Biryogo est connue pour la variété de ses cultures et de ses aliments.
Le marché de la ville de Kigali est un endroit idéal pour se promener. Hé o dans une certaine mesure, les niveaux supérieurs ressemblent beaucoup à un centre commercial avec le rez-de-chaussée ayant des vendeurs de différents types, y compris de la nourriture et des articles ménagers. Les commerçants sont engageants et ne dérangent pas trop les visiteurs, prendre des photos est facile et voici un large éventail à voir. Quelques endroits pour manger et boire aussi. Ce n'est pas un lieu touristique, donc pas de véritables curiosités, etc., mais des fruits, du thé, du café, du miel, etc. à vendre si c'est ce que vous recherchez. Les prix étaient très raisonnables et peu de marge de négociation mais aussi moins de pression pour acheter. Un endroit formidable à explorer - pas vraiment besoin d'un guide ou d'un « local » pour vous accompagner car il est sûr, bien éclairé et offre une grande sécurité.

Our guide, Gloria was very knowledgeable. She did a great job telling us all about the city, we visited a woman’s center and got to stop and meet some of the women working. She had a wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing all the way. Kigsli is a fascinating city.
