En commençant par les lions HSBC emblématiques, vous découvrirez pourquoi ils apparaissent sur la monnaie de Hong Kong et comment le littoral et le quartier financier de la ville se sont développés au fil du temps.
Explorez l'histoire de Hong Kong, depuis son époque de village de pêcheurs avant la domination britannique, jusqu'à son accession à la possession britannique en 1842, et sa rétrocession inévitable à la Chine en 1997. As a Berkeley graduate who spent time in the U.S., his sharp intellect shines through. The Experience: This tour provides a wonderful, comprehensive overview of Hong Kong. Michael covers local culture, history, geography, the banking and finance industry, and local food. The Personal Touch: Every detail is delivered through fascinating personal stories and unique insights from a true local perspective. What to Expect: We are a couple in our 60s, so we definitely felt tired by the end, but it was absolutely time well spent. Top Tip: Wear your most comfortable shoes! The route is well-planned, you visit the highlights, and the knowledgeable guide gives us information not only about what we see but also about the daily life of the inhabitants of Hong Kong. The only downside is the Disappointing and meager lunch, as was the sun break; it is at a typical restaurant, but there is not even the possibility of sitting down after a day.

Summer is hands down one of the most energetic, passionate, and thorough tour guides I’ve ever met! From the moment we started, her energy was non-stop, keeping us totally engaged with an endless stream of fascinating stories, local history, and quirky anecdotes. What really sets Summer apart is her attention to detail—she carried a tablet filled with historical photos and visual aids to match every story she told, which brought the city’s past to life in such a vivid way. Whether she was breaking down the architectural rivalry between major banks in Central, explaining the post-WWII history behind the stained glass at St. John’s Cathedral, or sharing wild jailhouse tales about Ho Chi Minh at Tai Kwun, the visuals made everything click. At Victoria Peak, she didn't just point out the view—she actively helped us find the absolute best photo spots and made sure everyone got incredible shots of the skyline.
