Visite à pied d'Athènes en petit groupe avec dégustation de vins

Description

This is a must-do tour in Athens. We loved it - walk around the city and learn about hidden places. Taste some amazing food and wine
The meet up point was well described and easy to find! We were lucky enough that it was just us (2) on the tour but I feel like Spyros would have made any group size feel personal. It was extremely hot out, but we stopped for some iced coffee and he made sure we were in the air conditioning for the tasting portion of the tour. We walked around (while Spyros shared information about Athens and the neighborhoods we walked through) for a little over an hour and then went to the wine spot. Although we have done a few tastings before, this was more in depth and we learned a lot too! The place was really niche with turntables and great music, not somewhere you would typically go as a tourist, more like a local spot. We were in Athens for another day and he gave us plenty of recommendations for food and drink for the rest of our stay.
Thank you so much Amanda for your wonderful words! It was such a pleasure meeting you and sharing that peaceful evening with you :) Wish you the best!!
Great walking tour! We visited ancient yet less heard of ruins, we visited more modern parts of the city, learned about local history and more recent developments and ended with a wine stop and lesson that was excellent and a perfect way to end our visit. Spyros was knowledgeable and full of stories and had a passion for his city - highly recommended
Spyros, our guide for the day is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. After a walk about some of Athen's most well-known neighborhoods, he took us to his favorite wine tasting bar and ordered us some food and several wines for a tasting/pairing party! In addition to sharing his knowledge of wines, he taught us how best to test the viability of the wine and identify both the flavors and the taste of the wine and try out what we felt paired well with each. He also gave us some recommendations - for food, wine, venues - both while we were with him and afterwords via WhatsApp and his website. We did go to what he called one of his favorite places to sip wine (or coffee if you prefer) away from the crowds yet still able to look up at the Acropolis. As he said it was like a little oasis and so calming. Highly recommend this tour and Spyros. Many thanks.
